We are pleased to announce the players re-union of the 1986/7 Graham Carr's 4th Division Champions, which will be held at the Park Inn on Saturday 13th May 2017. We are very grateful to Lane Wealth Management of Northampton for sponsoring this event. Club historian, Frank Grande, has been in touch with the players. management team and directors from that memorable season and we can confirm that the following players have agreed to attend. Peter Gleasure, Graham "Rambo" Reed, Phil Chard, Warren Donald, Bob Coy, Keith McPherson, Eddie McGoldrick, Dave Gilbert, Ian Benjamin, Richard Hill, Aidy Mann, Russ Wilcox, Irving Gernon and the skipper, Trevor Morley, is coming over from Norway. Frank is still chasing Mark Schiavi, Dave Logan and Paul Bunce. The management team of "The Gaffer" Graham Carr, Clive Walker and Denis Casey will be there along with former Chairman Derek Banks and other former directors. Following the very successful "Season in the Sun" we are expecting this event to sell out. Tickets will be priced at £20 which will include a buffet and we hope to have them on sale in around 10 days, so if your stuck for something to buy a Cobblers fan for Christmas, why not get them a couple of tickets.

Thanks. I've just found some programmes from that season and the end of season video was advertised and cost £20. That was 30 years ago, £20. Wow.

Will be great to catch up with the old players and many faces from the past.
Does anyone know what the plans are for the evening?
Will there be any speeches etc?

All of the players will be interviewed, some will talk more than others, it will be down to the individuals.

In the team photo ...
Who is between Carr and Reed
Who is on the end behind Carr
Who is to the left of Chard as we look
Looked like a good night, McPherson still looks fit as a Fiddle

CLIVE WALKER AIDY MANN BOB COY It was a great night. Well done to the organisers, it must be difficult organising something like this. Everyone was in good spirits, plenty of autograph signing and photos. Very enjoyable.

Eddie's father was rushed into hospital, Dave Gilbert was a no show despite us having a room booked for him.

Interestingly on the original team photos from that season, Eddie McGoldrick isn't on it. I only realised when checking off the autographs that I was missing him, Gilbert, Donegal and Bushell.

Thanks to all you guys and girls involved in organising this event. It must have taken a great deal of your time to do this. A thoroughly enjoyable and nostalgic evening at a reasonable valus for money £20. Glad i was not the one having to interview Trevor Morley talking about looking after drug dealers and refugee's in Norway but thought Mr Oglethorpe coped with him well. Forgot what a fantastic player Richard Hill was 33 goals from midfield in a season and Benji pipped him for player of the season. Keith McPherson looked as though he could still be playing. Happy days indeed.

I was unwell and upset not to be able to go - BUT my reason for posting this is to congratulate all those who organised the event. Well done!
