Apart from the last 20 minutes (until Rico 😀) we looked really comfortable today. Oxelona had more of the ball and were quick to go from box to box but what did they actually do with it? Alfie's chance and Rico / Ando's chance were the best two chances in the match. We were the better team by far.

A side note on the ref, he was absolutely shocking, they really should be held much more accountable than they seem to be.

Delighted with that result yesterday. Funny what a 94th minute winner will do!

As for the game, I thought it was by and large the perfect away performance except for some poor finishing.

O'Toole was seriously lucky to stay on the field.

Oxford United fans and the manager are just the gift that keeps on giving.

You say that we were pretty poor today and Oxford were clearly not poor.

Let's get it right. They played possession football to no effect, they had no clear chances. We had 3 gilt edged chances before we scored. They are clearly not poor but we are. I am confused.
Yes, their ineffectiveness up front (like us so often this season) was telling. Nevertheless, too often we were hoofing away and sppeared to be playing for a draw. The fact that throughout the 95 mins, the better chances fell to us, doesn't tell the whole story. They did generally close us down well. Last season, Oxford were again crying, when Holmes and JJOT really did destroy their midfield.
To say we were great and they were poor is what is really confusing!

lol......"lets go, lets go!!".......!

Couple of things seeing it again from this angle......do Taylors corners actually go out before coming back in?  And good to see that their keeper was down injured and all their players just ignored him and left him there!

Why on earth would you want to film the away fans in that situation. Unless you were a neutral or cobblers fan in the home end of course.

Don't think anybody said we were great , but we defended superbly which earned us the points. If you cant see that then you are supporting the wrong team.

Oh they do, believe me! East Stand was pretty poor vocally. That's the problem with Boxing Day games, with Oxford having around 6000 regulars and then those back for the holidays or little more than daytrippers. Vid clearly evidencing the loud singing from the away end. Acoustics not best at the Kassam, but could clearly see/hear only a small pocket trying to rouse the East Stand yesterday. Mo st of us have these problems at home to be fair!
