Why do people have to complicate things.

Such as?
7aside football in Tresham College in Kettering. Well outside of working hours, an apprentice for a kitchen fitting company was on the end of a bad tackle reacted by holding the lad by the throat. Because he was wearing his companies tshirt incorporating a logo, he was dismissed as he was representing the company. I'd honestly deem a person in his position making those comments on such a public platform a far worse offence due to the amount of people it could offend. I work in management myself (obviously to a much lesser degree), and I accept you cannot say things which discriminate.

In the real world I agree. Football management is not the real world though..

I would imagine a reasonable percentage of season ticket holders are girls. Or used to be.

So, KT gave Page a 3 year contract. Surely within that there are some performance criteria? Or could he take us down to the Conference South and still be unsackable without a payoff of some sort?
C'mon KT. Cough up and jog this clown on. Even if it costs you a quarter million.
RP WILL get us relegated if he stays.

I totally disagree with people who throw in a load of unnecessary cr@p to reinforce a point.
Rob Page should call it a day, or Kelvin should sack him. But he certainly doesn't strike me as a bad bloke. He made a daft comment, which in no way merits the rubbish spouted by some on here......

I don't know any that used to be girls but aren't any more - I'm sure there must be one or two. Does that constitute a reasonable percentage?

He effectively did say kids, but then went on to say girls are inferior to boys.

The comment is clearly not in itself a sackable offence.
However, what it points to is Page's general lack of subtlety, intelligence and control. I simply can't imagine Wilder, Calderwood or any of the semi-competent managers we have had in the past twenty years making such a ridiculous gaffe.
Until the last two games I was firmly in the 'let's not call for his head, because he'll scrape enough points for lower-midtable and KT won't pull the plug so it'll be counter-productive' camp. However, the tipping point has now been reached. He has now manifestly turned a 99 point-title-winning-side into relegation fodder.
Since pre-season it has been increasingly obvious that he simply lacks the transfer acumen, tactical awareness and man-management skills necessary to be a successful manager. His reliance on the ready-made experienced spine of Zak, Taylor and Revell got us some half-decent results early on but now they're knackered/in Africa and he simply has no plan b.
He's the worst manager we've had since Gary Johnson and it's now time to openly call for him to go.

I don't actually think what he said was that bad, If he said it was Men against women , or boys and against girls then that would be implying that the Male sex is superior. He has actually said that adult Males are better than infant females which is true and a fair comment although it should have been gender neutral to be PC. I personally don't agree with witch hunting people for comments with no offense of malice intended.

When I heard Rob's post match comments, I thought he sounded like Gary Johnson, ie.putting all the blame on the players and none on himself
