Explain how my statement is idiotic. 30points in 26 games (with a high percentage of these games against top 10 teams)

I like many other on this thread and the other one you have created to try and argue the same point refuse to go around in circles with you any longer. Page was sacked in the main because of the results and the run of results we were on (what was it in the end 1 win in 13/14). He deserved to go, had lost the dressing room and if you were at Bristol Rovers you would have seen had it carried on any longer we would have been deep in the mire re;legation wise. KT had to act as it was only going one way, thankfully for us all he is our chairman and not you!! There is no way in this world Page would have got us to 60 points, I firmly believe we would have not got to 50 points.

I suggest results were not the main reason he was sacked, as overall, results were fine. Anyway, people have taken this off topic with their Page infatuation. Easier games to come, 20 points in 11 games.

Right these were KT's exact words - "Following the recent run of results we feel that a change is necessary," said chairman Kelvin Thomas. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38555220CASE CLOSED!!

You're obsessed with Page! Was that the only quote? And in any case, the quote is "following recent results" if it had said "because of recent results" that would have been case closed. CASE REOPENED Anyway, back on topic.

Started average?
P10 W4 D5 L1
Is that average?
See the bit that says D5? That means we drew 5 games. They were the first 5 games we played in the league. I don't think you can get any more average than that. Then we picked up a bit and won 4 out of the next 5, as I alluded to in my original comment. Then it went down the toilet. It's that last part that cost Page his job. The first part is why he didn't lose it sooner.

A rare point against a top ten team, thoroughly deserved also.
That's 10 points from the first 6 of the batch of 11 games around February that I believe will see us safe. Tough one away next at Fleetwood then 4 big chances of points after that.
Still every chance of picking up 20 points from this run of 11 easier games.

And this from the bloke who proclaimed Page had turned our form around after winning one game Either the biggest troll on the Hotel End, or perhaps the biggest fool

I did warn you that closing one thread just leads to the infection of others.
This guy is willing JE to fail, just so he can compare stats with Page and say I told you so, at the same time totally ignoring the steaming hot turd we'd become under his stewardship.
Unbelievable.

I make it that we have 8 games where we realistically can pick up points and as things stand, 5 games where if we get a result it will be a 'bonus'.
Those 5 games are Fleetwood, Rochdale, Millwall and Bolton (aways). And Sheffield UTD (Home).
I reckon that if luck evens itself out over the remaining games we will end up with around 57/58 points. To stay on track we need 4 points from the next 3 games; the key game in that little run is of course Oldham. If we beat them then things should be rather comfortable for us.
The bottom 3 look doomed. Then theres Port Vale. They have picked up just 7 points from the 10 matches they have played since we beat them, with their only win coming at home to Chesterfield. They have a caretaker manager, a sprinkling of injuries and next up for them are Bradford, Rochdale and Southend!

I remember a few on here throwing a hissy fit after we only picked up a draw against Fleetwood first game of the season. Looks like a good point now. Goes to show it's all guess work early season.

Most were saying it, myself included, as we left the stadium. I think they were a lot of people favorites to be relegated.

Of course I'm not wishing him to fail, where have I said that? We are doing really well at the moment, and we will pick up a truck load of points in the next 5 games, which is what this thread is about, nothing more nothing less.

Yep, very much agree with this. I'm still hopefully of picking up a few extra bonus points and sneaking into the top half, although 57-58points is not to be sniffed at and will put us 10points clear of relegation.

As much as I'd like to engage in a battle of wits with you, I'll decline as you're clearly unarmed.
