Do you really reckon that emailing a television company that had fu/ck all to do with the game and doesn't even broadcast the tournament had anything to do with it, or do you think it might have been down to a couple of phone calls and Dons' less than healthy accounts?

Big game for JE too - a win would be a real marker of intent. Good luck JE and hope it all goes well for you.

I 'll be getting me lucky shirt out of retirement for this one (desperate times require desperate measures). Usual question but where to drink considering our huge following? Will it be Fenny Stratford (about a mile away) or is Bletchley WMC really an option as stated on FGG? Bussing it from Leicester (x7) which stops at the end of my road and goes all the way to MK! Train for the last bit to Bletchley (or Fenny if required). Thoughts please.
I dont know if anybody has mentioned it, but the Enigma Tavern, first pub from Bletchley station, is boarded up and locked shut.

Since we took 8,000 away there last year on a Tuesday night in the depths of winter, let's hope we can take are full allocation of 6,000,and show those plastics what real support looks like, and get behind justin on the start of his cobblers career.
The irony of mentioning 8000 (it was 7,040) and 'plastics'. Hmmmm!

It was boarded up for the last game...not a great loss in all honesty. Fenny Stratford hardly worth the 25 min walk from Bletchley station, followed by another 15-20 min walk to Stadium: MK!

Just collect them from the window by the away turnstiles at Milton Keynes, that's what I'll be doing.

Thus making it easily the best pub in Bletchley! Bletchley WMC are opening up their function room purely for away fans. Spoons in MK for me then the train at xx47 xx22 to Bletchley and walk to legoland.

Looking forward to this one, should be a very good game. I'm optimistic about our chances and should be a good atmosphere. A chance to avenge what happened last time at their place too. After Peterborough did the double over us this season and did it in style, it would be nice if we could do the double over MK to give us something to feel good about the season for! It's a big first game for Justin Edinburgh too but I think he'll revel in the opportunity to get stuck into managing the Cobblers with a fiesty local derby. Personally, my XI (barring any more new signings by Saturday, and there might apparently be another one on the way by then) for the MK game would be: K.ANDERSON REVELL
HOSKINS
TAYLOR BOATENG O'TOOLE
BUCHANAN DIAMOND NYATANGA EARDLEY
SMITH

Looks good but I'd play the full backs and left footed players on their natural sides, unless it is a plan to confuse?

For any fellow LGBTIQ fans, I would heartily recommend Pink Punters in Bletchley. I'm going there at half ten for a chocolate sandwich followed by a quick shower, then straight to the game, literally smelling of roses.

Saw a tweet saying 1,700 away tickets sold so we should break the 2,000 barrier ahead of match day plus a few pay on the day, could get close to 2,300. That would be pretty decent. I presume we will all be stuck in the Upper Tier? It's about time we had a bit of luck there. Maybe JE can be the man to bring us that luck. Really looking forward to this much more than a couple of weeks ago.

[/quote] I'd consider bringing Rodney in for Zander. He hasn't looked sharp these last 3 games. Definitely go with Revs and Keshi up top. Hoskins wide right, Taylor wide left with Boateng and O'Toole in the middle. Seems decent.

An established scorer he is not so we do need a proven goal scorer - there must a few lurking about even if it means paying a fee. We definitely need to shore up the defence and possibly midfield too. If JE gets it right we could yet climb to mid table security sooner rather than later.
