This is the lad who was on trial at Brentford I believe? Couple years back after impressing in non league. Scored a hattrick in a trial game against Crystal Palace so Palace signed him up  Grin Grin

(I could be completely wrong, but I think it's him!)

I think he looks like a really good signing. He's a confident guy from what I have seen in his interviews- very assured of his own abilities. Just the sort of player we need in the side at the moment to boost team confidence. He's young, pacey and the player we've been looking for up front.

Hopefully now we will play Keshi and Revell up front and then bring Rico on for one of them after 70 mins so Marc can have a good run at a tired MK defence. Can see Keshi wreaking havoc up front as well, just the sort of player we need. Chuffed with this signing! Praying that the lad lives up to the hype!

His name is far too close to Kenji for my liking and on that basis I am not prepared to give him a chance.

I would be more concerned that his surname is the same as Paul Anderson's...

You were doing so well here, but then...

Hopefully Keshi will be able to get in front of his defenders and score a few. Not a big lad but looks quite strong.

They can use his castle as a training / agility centre though.

Never really got a go at Bolton. Got suspended and couldn't get back in. Not surprising given the run they're on.

If we'd have signed him in the summer everyone would have been gushing so why not now?

You all wanted a quick striker, someone different, well here he is. If you thought we were going to spirit some experienced equivalent out of the ether and pay a fee you need to wake up fast.

This is as good as we are going to get. If the lad fits he could be our Jermaine Defoe so lets give him a chance ffs.

I'll bare my ar$e if he doesn't turn out to be a ton better than Gorre and Sonupe combined.

I really hope he is, in that case!  Grin

I'm pretty sure he will do well, love his confidence.

Delighted with this signing !
It's much better than I thought we would do and preferable to Toney .
We need another wide player now .
Very strange that KT allowed Wylde and to a lesser extent Boateng to come in before sacking Page .
He must have known there was a strong likelihood it was going to happen because it wasn't just on the pitch results that affected the decision .

Its a funny old game. people over twitter were begging Toney to come back even the club come to think of it. fast forward and we have Keshi in and i am glad we have him over Toney.

The positive in all this is he will know Boateng which will help him settle in plus he is local (ish) too, so to me its a good fit all round. so both on paper are good signings and from what i have seen from Boateng so far he looks a decent player who i believe he will only get better and better.

I think in the case of Kenji Gorre there is a fine player in there, just mismanaged and played out of position by Page

Im glad Keshi wasn't signed at the start of the season because the chances are, his career would have been destroyed by now!

At the end of the day, on paper, this signing is as good as it gets for us as far as 'young player on loan from premier league club' is concerned.

Im also confident that we have the right players to compliment him, and vice versa. We've needed an effective number 10 all season (although I would have given Hoskins a run there prior to this signing).

Looking forward to Saturday. Id like to see one more winger (preferably right footed) to come in. Got to be good though, better than Anderson. And notably with a good work rate.

With the right players alongside him, we can afford to stick with one luxury player, that being Taylor. The problem we've had is that we've been playing two luxury players in midfield (Taylor and Anderson) and 2 strikers who get knackered after 70minutes. And with hardly any subs ever made, that means we effectively have 6 'fit' players in the closing stages of games. Hence why we concede so many goals then. Not exactly rocket science!

Spot on DC .... that's exactly my opinion .
As for the post above on Kenji Gorre .... is that a joke ??
Page played him in his preferred position , gave him loads of chances and as for a good player
..... he will never play for a professional club again in my view- totally useless but thought he was a superstar .
Total failure .

Agreed.  You wonder how the interview went.  I assume Kenji had been watched and somebody knew his strengths and weaknesses.

"I see you are a winger and like to attack"
"Yes"
"That is exactly what we are looking for.  Someone to put crosses over to be headed in. Can you do that?"
"Yes."
"Great.  Can you play right back for 80 minutes or more?  I'm only asking just in case......"

If rumours are true Gorre is on his way Hearts in Scotland for a 6 month loan

Also playing Hoskins as a number 10 - with his finishing - are you having a laugh!!!

OPne thing Keshi cannot be is a worse finisher than Hoskins

It's all very pleasing we've got in a new player even if only on loan, but let's not go over the top hes hardly played any matches & i dont think he's the world beater many of you on here think he is. I'll keep my fingers crossed he can add to his ONE goal scored this seaon.
