A bit of info for anyone thinking of having a beer in Stony Stratford on Saturday. The C**k, The Plough and The Bull have stated that they do NOT want any football fans in their pubs. The Duke of Wellington have not answered the question. The Fox & Hounds, White Horse, Old George and the Vaults Bar have said that they will welcome our fans. It would be really good to remember which prejudiced pub owners do not want our money and make sure the don't get a penny out of us on Saturday and anytime in the future!!!! I find it amazing that if a pub owner tried to not serve people on the grounds of race or sex, the law would be down on them like a ton of bricks but to not serve someone because of how they like to spend their leisure time is quite acceptable.

The Fox & Hounds, White Horse, Old George and the Vaults Bar have said that they will welcome our fans. They are the better pubs anyway all with good selections of real ales. Shame about the Cock as that's reasonable for food although I think the others do food anyway.

Leeds United stopped off in Stony Stratford last year and there were literally hundreds outside The Plough. They all seemed to be well behaved. I guess The Plough, where Cobblers fans are not welcome this year, don't want to make any extra money. You'd have thought in the current climate where a lot of pubs are on their arses that they'd welcome the extra revenue.
Anyhow if you do stop off in Stony go and give your money to Tim, landlord of the White Horse, who despite supporting Stoke City, has a soft spot for The Cobblers and also despises The Mongs of "stadium:mary celeste".

The Coach could always make the short trip to the " Shoulder of Mutton" in Calverton less than a mile from Stony. Does home cooking as well, but for a large(ish) party best to contact the landlord.
