Ship him out, one trick pony from set pieces, won't defend, can't tackle, waste of space.

Taylor could do with a hover board to get around the pitch.

Doesn't he have the most assists this season? Get rid.

This is the problem, he detracts from the squad in general play (in effect a midfielder short) but chips in with the occasional exceptional cross / set-piece.

A luxury which cannot be afforded at present.

I liked him early on but now he just looks old and past it. Nearly always picks the wrong pass which is usually the 'harder' one.
Felt for beautyman at one point in the second half, Taylor got the ball out wide and HB was in acres of space running to the edge of the box waiting for a simple lay off, so Taylor trys a 'wonder' pass. Not to mention the free kick at the end of the first half, awful decision to shoot from there. For such an experienced player with the career he's had how is his decision making so poor.

I like Marty.
Granted his old legs have gone and he plays exquisite passes that none of his team mates are intelligent enough to read but dropping him would be like putting your old dog down, you know it's for the best but you feel terrible for doing it.

He did have a poor game overall, but he was the only one on our side for the first 35mins who could actually pass. No point blaming him for the loss that was the defence's accolade.

He was certainly at fault for the first goal!!

Poor overall, just don't get why every free kick within 50 yards of the opposition goal has to end up as a Taylor shot......set piece training must be a piece of p1ss at Moulton!!

Not for the first time this season he picked up an early booking, then wouldn't go near an opposition player after that. Granted, good delivery for the corner that Richards headed in, but what else does he bring?? If you end up taking all the set pieces chances are you are going to have the highest assist count!

I think he's a luxury, playing him at the base of a diamond today, almost like we have to get him in there somewhere. Don't know that he's the man you want for a relegation battle though!

I think Edinburgh totally sold Marty down the river today, much like Page, Byrom and Peterborough. The diamond formation didn't work at all, the width from MK meant O'Toole was playing RM, Boateng LM, when they should have been much narrower. Which meant Taylor was playing in the centre with no one else near to help him. It didn't help that Beautyman wasn't tracking back, and the yellow card.

Saying that he needs to be dropped next game.

______O'Toole Boateng
K.Anderson Beautyman Wylde
________Richards

..for me, if no new signings

Am I missing something here?  Beautyman didn't do what he was asked to do today and what they'd spent the week doing in training.  Ship him out...ideally on a slow boat to China.
