I for one feel honoured to have seen him play for us. I haven't and guess I won't again see a Cobbler score such fantastic free kicks at this level. He was great with the youngsters too.

Best of luck with your next club Matty and thank you very much.

Yep - definitely agreed, the boy did well!

I can't knock the bloke, he just wants to play as much football as possible and have a short commute .

Good luck to him

Well, legs gone, past it as a pro, good riddance said me. Had a stellar season and won player of the year at Swindon apparently, so it just shows you. Sorry Matty, I take it all back, talking out of my arse again.

For the 150,000th time, there is a massive difference between L1 & L2, particularly when it comes to the level of mobility required in the middle of the park.

I think most people understand this... including Taylor.

Only an idiot would think that. I'd list that in my top 10 of stupid things fans say.

That’s your opinion and not everybody agrees with you. Your judgement is very one sided and lacks perception. I would suggest that we had very little in our midfield to effectively replace him. Perhaps Swindon’s gain was our loss. Even a few goals and assists might have helped us!

No it's fact Nevers,

Had he been good enough for League one, another League one club would have signed him and he would not have ended up at Swindon

not always the case - money talks.

Van Veen was good enough for a championship team from the top half, but he came to a team at the foot of league one

Do people rate Grimes over Taylor? I think we would have been in a better situation this year if we had Taylor

Matty Taylor first 3/4 months in his first season with us I really enjoyed watching. After that, I'd have chosen Grimes.

I think he ended up at Swindon due to location, he lives near Oxford.

Partly yes, but there were no other offers on the table as far as I am aware?
