League starts (not including subs)

Diamond Zakuani
P10 W4 D5 L1

Diamond Nyatanga
P10 W3 D1 L6

Zakuani Nyatanga
P6 W2 D0 L4

Zakuani McDonald
P1 W0 D0 L1

Diamond McDonald
P1 W0 D0 L1

Zakuani Diamond Nyatanga
P1 W0 D0 L1

No real point to this as it doesn't really show what actually happened in games.
Interesting to see it though, despite knowing what we probably already knew.
Also not really fair on McDonald.

The Diamond/Zak partnership has looked the most natural one and Im not surprised its given us the most success.

I sincerely hope that its restored as soon as Zak is fit enough...

If there is no point, then why did you post it?  Roll Eyes

I did say because it was interesting (to some)

+ when you have people saying stuff like this..
The decision to buy M Smith is a good one; but we still need a decent half back. Unfortunately for me confidence in Diamond evaporated sometime ago. Not sure on Nyatanga. Anybody aware of out of contract centre backs.

Interesting but not surprising. GZ is a fine player maybe gives his partner whoever that is more confidence.

Diamond and Zak for me , although Zander needs to be a bit more imposing of late .
As a centre half myself , I appreciate our lads have been completely let down this season by poor central midfield selections and partnerships , leaving them totally exposed .
Taylor hasn't tackled anyone yet , McCourt is a liability , Beautyman is lightweight and JJOT tires badly late on .
The only partnership that works is JJOT and Boateng . The quicker the manager learns this the better our centre halves will perform .
