Yes.

He should be thankful he wasn't called a teachers pet, or grass for that matter. Evil

Actually the Old Boy must be running out of suitable adjectives. Anybody notice how nice he is towards Coolcat?

Hello everbrite, Kingsthorpe Cobbler here I mean Teachers Pet.

I fancied a change & Marquis came up with the idea for me.

Potentially just a 5 point cushion if Vale win their game in hand. Lose on Friday and there will be real pressure going into the Shrews game. We are not safe yet by any means.

I can't see us getting anything at millwall - a point would be unexpected but welcome and then hope that Sheffield united's players aren't on their holidays at port vale. We need to put in a performance against Shrewsbury like we did today and that will hopefully be that.

Vale have three away games left and have won only one away all season, their 2 home games are Sheff U and Bolton. They have got to turn it around big style to catch us.

You can get odds of over 150/1 on us getting relegated

For those still shatting their pants .... fill your boots

Then cover your bet with us to beat Shrewsbury

I always look at the worst case scenarios (One of life's worriers I'm afraid)! Assuming we lose at Millwall, and other results go against us, pressure then builds and with matches against the 3 teams directly above the drop zone you are in Cup Final territory where anything can happen, their spirits are up for the fight etc. We should be good enough for 4-6 points from those 3 games if we play like we have been, including yesterday for the first 70 minutes, but there's always that nagging doubt that we have "one of those games" x 3 !!

Albeit posted with the usual caveats:

1) It's that time of the year when the form book can go out of the window;
2) "There are no easy games in League 1";
3) I have an emotional investment ...................

.... I'd say that on paper us and Charlton have the easier of the run-in's in terms of those currently occupying 15th to 21st.

Looking at the remaining fixtures Shrews, Gills, Vale, Bury and Oldham all have difficult games, with a few relegation 6-pointers thrown in (as do we).

Nostradamus.

And they've got Southend away on the final day which won't be easy if they're still jockeying for play off positions.

Given their fixtures to come, Bury's game with us will be massive for them!

It's starting to look a bit clearer  - Swindon will now have to win all 3 of their games to finish above us and port vale have got a horrendous run in
