We can't be caught by either Coventry City or Chesterfield now! Getting ever nearer to safety and another season in League One.

I fail to see how anyone can defend Page at all .
We had a modicum of success early in the season , despite not playing that well when the opposition hadn't worked out our one dimensional tactics of hitting Revell at every opportunity .
They soon worked out how slow and powder puff we were in midfield and that the team couldn't last 70 minutes .
Anyone that supports Page fails to appreciate the dressing room was in turmoil and very few players supported him or his staff . They were unprofessional and unorganised in their approach .
There is no doubt we would have been relegated under that clown and maybe even bottom of the league . It was an embarrassment at the end .
That's before you start to talk about his signings / treatment of players / no connection with supporters / tactics / substitutions / fitness levels / bung he took from Barry Fry to put out an embarrassment of a team selection at Borough etc etc

It makes you wonder how he managed to keep Port Vale in League One before he came to us. They even somehow managed to finish 12 in season 15/16

I think it's fair to say that port vale have had better halves - 3 down, a man sent off and 2 injuries!

I totally agree that Page is one of the worst managers we have ever had.

I don't really think so - some of those Managers prior to DCardoza era , Fenwick and Wilkinson era were pretty naff. I can recall a player manager called Billy Baxter who was less than shocking as was Crerand and  Flowers. If anything Page was probably about a "dismal looking average" - his results up until October were acceptable. The November results onwards got worse by the game and BR was the last straw!

Stourbridge was enough to get the most boring manger ever the sack.  Oh and playing one up front at home and being happy to watch the other team play football.  Oh and also for paying £100k for Harry

I wonder if tonight's match is the end of the line for Robinson at charlton - another terrible result and they're right in the relegation mix

After tonight's results all went for us. That's it for the season safety assured.
All agree?

Do you remember how many Wilder played up front in most games for us?

Also, we didn't pay £100k for Harry, it was around £25k with large add ons.......maybe one of the reasons he isn't playing as much as he would like at the moment.

Stick to the facts next time.

Statto statto.  You are wrong with £25k but will leave it there Page lover.  You cannot compare Wilder to Page.  Wilder has more footballing knowledge in his little toe than Page will ever have.

Not safe yet but getting closer to it. There's so many teams below us though it would take some impressive results to do us, however I won't relax until its mathematical.
