The Shrews game is massive. Win and we'll be safe. Lose and we'll be nervously looking over our shoulders again. I guess the likes of Moloney, O'Toole will be drafted back in for this one.

And I would imagine Williams and Michael smith will be out - I would hope revs will slot back in and not keshi but from earlier in the season it was pretty clear that revs and Rico are too similar. Does this latest injury for Williams mean that it's not worth pursuing a permanent deal in the summer?

Probably been posted elsewhere by now, but beat Shrewsbury and we are safe.

Beating them takes us to 54 - and as we are 4 points ahead of Shrews, that'd put us 7 clear of them with two to play, while Swindon would also be unable to pass us as they can only get to a max of 53 points.

Yes, but he was our best player first half. I would personally sign him.

In my opinion yes, easily. 2nd half he looked knackered.

Oldham win 1-0 against Bolton and move level with us on 51 points, we remain above them on goal difference.

Bury have Bolton away tomorrow which they'll lose probably and Vale are horrendous so that was a big point today.

Vale have Bolton, Walsall and Fleetwood
Bury have Bolton, Us and Southend

We should be OK but not quite mathematically safe just yet

Port Vale need to win all 3 games v Bolton, Walsall and Fleetwood.

We need to lose both our remaining games.

We're so crap this is very possible. If for some reason Bury and Vale do manage a couple of wins the pressure will be huge.

Similar.

With 2 games to go we beat Hereford to reach 49 points and open up a 2 point gap over the relegation zone (Carlisle) with a game in hand and a much better GD going in to the final week of the season. We needed 1 point to survive.

http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-one/2008-2009/table/2009-04-25

We lost to both Milton Keynes & Leeds. Carlisle beat Millwall and we went down by 1 point.

Didn't Millwall play pretty much a reserve side,  due to them being already qualified for the play offs?
