Nope, don't just make up random b0ll0cks. Just players who might be here next season, close to our last home game actually. Hopefully Hanley and McWilliams get a start at Bury.

I am beginning to think you are not quite all there - your last two messages seem to indicate that. If you hope two reserve players should play then at least you should be there at Bury to support the Cobbs  - Yes?

ps "Still room on the Earls Barton coach - Barton"  - thats a very nice Coach with genuine supporters!

Come on Cobbler78 and everbrite call a truce.

Although, it is quite fun seeing you both bickering.

Anyway, left back Eardley but you could pop Nyatanga there with McDonald at centre-half. When Nyatanga signed RP said he could cover the left-back position.

Maybe this formation may work :-

                              Smith
           Diamond  Nyatanga  McDonald

Moloney                                          Eardley
                      Boateng

             Anderson            Taylor

                 Smith/Revell   Richards

Subs: Cornell, Phillips, MCourt, McWilliams, Beautyman/Revell, K Anderson & Hanley

Did you start supporting us after 2008/09?
I recall that day quite well. I was denied entry, for being p1ssed, I had only had two pints! They never confiscated my ticket, so I went over to Mcdonalds, had a cup of tea, and came back to automated turnstiles with no stewards around. Low and behold, my ticket also worked at a different turnstile. In I went to take a seat, only to find three stewards coming to sit with, and around me. Thee alright petal? they enquired. I didnt respond. And just sat there without opening my mouth, for the entire second half.
The worst part was those b@stards to the left of us, with the large "Kingsthorpe Whites" flag. Relegation was bad enough, but you dont need some tossers from The Windmill rubbing it in.

All I have done is hope that '78 will go to Bury.  Agree on Eardley, who could also play in midfield . Phillips might be ok at Left back.

Phillips struggled at left back on Saturday, admittedly we were down to 10 and he was up against an excellent winger. Hanley has to play, what is the point having a back up left back otherwise, he might just surprise you.

........................Smith...................
Moloney...Diamond...Nyatanga..Hanley

Anderson...McCourt...McWilliams..Taylor

...............Rico......Revs...........

Get the ball wide and get the crosses in, no useless diamond formation launching straight long balls up the middle.

This is better :

                              Smith
                  Diamond  Nyatanga

Moloney                                     Phillips
                       Eardley

         Smith*                   Taylor

   Anderson(P)     Revell       Richards

* Maybe ok on right of midfield, will work and does seem to spend most of his time on the right?

Subs: Cornell, MCourt, McWilliams, Beautyman K Anderson,McDonald & Hanley

Smith on the right? Who?

Rico, the tricky left winger?

Phillips and Eardley out of position.

Erm, no thanks.

It's our version of the Dutch total football side of the 70's.

Michael Smith as a right midfielder. Christ.

He's probably our best option up front imo.

I remember the mk game, we set out and played for a 0-0 draw against a dons team that was pretty much on the beach. We had no intention of going forward and in the end seemed to bore Milton Keynes into actually attacking with the inevitable result.
Was this a re-arranged game after the original was abandoned at half-time due to a waterlogged pitch? Were we 0-0 or 1-0 up in the original game? I remember we beat Hereford thinking we were then safe so that's why this year I'm thinking we're not safe until we're mathematically safe, even with the amount of teams below us and the need for a lot of results to conspire against us. We are not yet safe.

There's a reason why hanley doesn't play, try and work it out.

Yeah, Buchanan. Not many left backs in the lower two leagues are better than him, have you ever seen Hanley play? I guess not. So stop being a patronising prick.

I have heard some things on this board, but that just about tops it. Maybe Keshi can fill in as our tough tackling midfielder.

Still think MSmith will make a dashing right midfielder - its were he plays anyway!

Goals wise, I agree. Personally think he offers most though. Wouldn't mind seeing him and Keshi up top.
