It was suggested by someone(real expert) else it might be worth a try.  Sorry to suggest something different Roll Eyes

Are you sure this real expert wasn't referring to Martin smith - even then he'd be out of position on the right but at least he was a midfielder? Thinking about it I bet Martin smith could still contribute more than some of our current attacking options.

We have in the past converted fwds to midfielders and vice versa with a modicum of success. The Smith in question is one of our current strikers except he has forgotten how to score(2/14). Must admit it was a flippant suggestion! We are short of players following the red cards recently. Finally have a feeling Smith might be injured?

I have heard some things on this board, but that just about tops it.

Grin at least you have a sense of humour. A bit on the ironic side tho'.

Yes, Michael smith is injured and I thought we missed him on Monday - I still don't think that a 6ft 3 striker would make a good right winger but I agree that we need to shuffle the pack!

Yeah, Buchanan. Not many left backs in the lower two leagues are better than him, have you ever seen Hanley play? I guess not. So stop being a patronising prick.

FYI I watched Hanley play against West Ham in the pointless cup as well as other cameos this season and it's obvious you haven't otherwise you wouldn't be suggesting he starts. Now fxck off you patronising prick.

Smith seemed to be playing on the wing when we played away to Wimbledon recently. Cant remember whether it was right or left, I was half cut at the time…but he was definitely playing out wide!!

Our current situation cannot be compared to the one we faced when we went down under Gray. I remember, 2 games left…we were 10/1 at the bookies to be relegated. This time we are not even listed with most of them!

Statistically its got to be well over 1000/1. Around 8 or 9 results have got to come in, most of which are extremely unlikely results. Anyone whose tried an 8 or 9 match accumulator picking long odd possibilities each time will know where Im coming from.

Theres more chance of Corbyn becoming prime minister…in 2022!

Theres a small chance he could become prime minister in June; I wouldn't bet on it though!  Grin

Rather than remain static he runs out wide looking for the out ball from either full back. Unfortunately his willingness to work hard for the team leaves him outside the box when the ball is delivered, hence his lack of goals.

Appreciate what you are saying and they are good points. But at Wimbledon it seemed like he was out wide as part of the formation, at least for the bulk of the game. If you went to Wimbledon and can clarify that wasn't the case I will accept it though as I was a little p1ssed!!

Well well! I have been assured by two experts on here that MS cannot play on the right!

I honestly cant see us winning another game this season, IMO we will loose to Bury and it only needs a couple of results to go against us for it to start getting ugly!

Obviously there is that Stuart Gray relegation season at the back of our minds.

On a more positive note I can see all of Gillingham, Shrewsbury & Port Vale losing. On a negative note (and may I be wrong) I can't see us getting anything at Bury. Our away record is atrocious.
