Great news we're out of the Zone. Dale and the Wombles have played a game less but we're heading in the right direction.

Wimbledon played their game in hand today, a 2-2 draw vs Boro.
We remain ahead of them in the table.

5 or 6 wins between now and the christmas period would see it necessary to change this thread title to playoff watch, totally inconceivable just a few weeks back.

Careful - but in fairness we really do not look like a relegation side much more organized with a reasonable game plan - that illusive 20 plus goals a season striker is actually the main thin missing.

Looking on the bright side I’ve not seen the Cobblers play at Forest green Rovers yet.

We went there in the cup a few years back. John Johnson scored a belter. And theres a great supporters bar. And it rained. Thats about it, really.

Stroud and Nailsworth great too. Brilliant day out. Been to the other side of the hill to watch Shortwood FC in the FAC. Uncanny really that somewhere as small as Nailsworth has two clubs!

We will stay up no problem under our new Chinese owners with their cash on the hip and boundless enthusiasm for the club. It’s good to hear them giving upbeat updates to raise the morale of the fans. Bring on the transfer window and show our intent......
Oh hang on

Ouch. I think we will though, we seem to manage the odd good performance every ten games or so.

The problem is that we need that to happen in 11 of our remaining 25 games.

Nice to know in advance we are not going to get properly hammered again before the start of next season. And we're gonna score away at Blackpool and Bristol.
Take the positives.
