I think we'll just about be OK.

- Rochdale looked too good to go down but their schedule is now looking packed and that may take its toll. If they pick up a couple of injuries/suspensions along the way, it'll make it even harder.
- Bury have a huge task to get out of it and I think it is unlikely now even though they have picked up a little, it wont be enough.
- MK Dons are going to continue to struggle with an inexperienced manager and lackluster squad and will now cement their place in the drop zone
- Wimbledon and Oldham are the ones I'm looking for us to stay above as they are in a similar situation to us (albeit with weaker squads on paper)
- Fleetwood, Blackpool and Doncaster are struggling now. Wouldnt be surprised for Fleetwood to get really dragged in to it, even with their games in hand but think Doncaster and Blackpool will pick up enough points.

I predict though that the current bottom 4 will go down. Rochdale will make a good fist of it, and Wimbledon might just have enough to get out, but hopefully not at our expense.

It's going to be a very interesting run in. Could be a good division next season if you travel away, if Rochdale run out of steam and go down with Bury, Oldham and Fleetwood. Although it would be better for the club financially if the Fakes stay up, in the interests of football I'd like to send them down with 3 of the Northern teams.

If you replace them with  Luton, Wycombe, Notts County and Swindon or Cov maybe as and outside chance it makes for a few more localish games.

Birmingham is a great day out but Sunderland might add a few miles though...

Crucially for me in that table is that we've played 34 games, more than most.

The fact that we have Oxford, Walsall, Blackpool,Fleetwood, Oldham and Bury still to play means that we should have a major influence over our own destiny not be too reliant on others.  Especially as four of them are away...

Another mid week game thrown in for Rochdale after yesterday's cup heroics...surely they'll run out of legs eventually? MK have a couple of big ones coming up and if they don't win either I think they'll be on their way.

Still far too close for comfort, though, and I don't share the optimism about the Oxford game, especially being at home!

Is it too early to suggest that there are a lot of teams in the mix for one relegation place??

Can't see Bury dragging themselves out of it. Rochdale, for how good they look, are surely going to suffer with playing Sat/midweek for pretty much the rest of the season.
And MK......aq very uninspiring managerial appointment and seemingly incapable of getting results at the moment.

I see all those in the bottom 4 come the end of the season...the fourth team is anyones guess though.

I am still confident that we will avoid the drop based on our current away form however we will need to sort the home stuff to make certain, starting with this Saturday.

Answer honestly.
Are we one of the worst four teams in the division ?
Hand on heart - it’s marginal and Van Veen might make the difference , but right now I think we are .

That would be ideal if we win our games. Today's game should see Blackburn win but Bury are unbeaten in 5.
