Dale and bury are gone imo and mk need a minor miracle looking at their fixtures and form.. 12 more points will be enough as long as we beat Bury and a minimum of 4 points from our games at fleetwood and blackpool..lose both and we might as well throw ourselves into the Irish sea with our league 1 status...

Absolute rubbish .
I post a lot of positive comments about players on here when credit is due .
The reality is some supporters speak the truth and others won’t take any criticism of the club at all because it’s their club .
Get real - this is football not a kids nursery .

I think most of your posts have a common anti Cobblers theme interspaced with grudging praise when you feel obliged. Don't fudge the issue with pompous statements like I speak the truth. It's ironic that you harp on about criticism yet this is a 'commodity' you freely offer at most opportunistic moments. Actually, I support your right to voice your opinion as you should do others; imo you appear to have a problem with opinions which are diametrically opposed to yours....like 'rubbish' frequently expressed.

If we do go down it must be the most expensive (in wage bill terms) Cobblers team to do so. It won’t be down to the fans but two under achieving managers.
Fingers crossed we find a Wilderesque turnaround and end the season strongly. It’ll be such a shame if we do drop and could find ourselves in all sorts of trouble.

I think Jimmy might just target staying one point and place above Fleetwood to avoid that last spot. He'll set us up not to lose against them, and we all know will happen..

I know you can be an accurate forecaster but even so have merely inserted 'might' in this instance. Just like to be a tad more on the fence!

This has been touched on already but I think our survival might be as simple as whether JJ stays injury/suspension free. Similarly I think the same dilemma will probably apply to most other teams and their best players.

At least the postponement might work out to our benefit - it gives JJ a bit of a chance of some rest and recuperation, and the same with facey and van veen. I think your point about JJ is pertinent - just think of the kick in the balls it would be if he picked a bad injury up or got sent off.

Why don’t you give an opinion rather than picking holes in everyone else’s?

Sorry, don't understand your comment. Bit hasty on the keyboard again.

MK are gone - they have appointed someone who has nice presentation & project management skills, but, who knows FA about real football.

Rochdale may just scrape through (Keith Hill is a real, real, Footballing Manager) - and, I've put my money on them surviving.  If not, then total respect for their positive footballing attitude.

Wimbledon are goners.  No football skills left in their weak team.

Bury have acquired the wrong players in the Jan window, so, they are down.  (Given the high profile signing of Hanson, you'd expect him to start.....  ?)

Last relegation spot?  Not us.....   although our goals scored & conceded over the course of the season may say otherwise.

Last relegation spot goes to Blackpool, who, despite my pre-season optimism for them being promotion challengers, have hit the wall in the last few weeks.

We may be lucky, and hit 18th come the end of the season.

Big love to all you Cobble-obblers out there in Internet world.....    xxxxx

At least you are reasonably positive in a slightly worrying situation.

Yeah, no defeats in 5, one defeat in 8, last game was a 2-0 win at Portsmouth and they've also won 2-0 at Wigan in that spell.

If that's "hitting a wall" I suggest Jimmy needs to go out and find a similar wall somewhere!!

Evers, he does have a point!
You are not a moderator, you are not the protector of the Cobblers faith, you are another punter with an opinion like any other.
If you disagree, disagree but do it as another punter with another view, not as someone who believes that they have the copyright on the correct answers/opinions.
You are allowed to express your opinion without constant heckling and/or sniping, allows others that opportunity.
Think before you press the button to post.

And you are a hypocrite.

Tied yourself up into a knot there Evers. This whole conversation started because it is you who cannot consider others opinions when they are opposed to yours and instead you start to question people's integrity/status as a fan.

Starting to look like the bottom three are all going - MK appointing a fella who looks and appears like a contestant from The Apprentice and subsequently imploding even further is a silver lining to some of our poor performances.

It's going to the wire and the worry for me is that we're far from convincing in terms of a togetherness that you need in a relegation scrap, at least from looking on the pitch. I had a similar feeling the year we went down with a whimper in 2009.

We especially need a home performance that's full of battle hardened tackles and passion to get the home support back onside - even if it's a home draw that's coupled with a bit of fight that would be a start.
