Evers, he does have a point! You are not a moderator, you are not the protector of the Cobblers faith, you are another punter with an opinion like any other.
Let's agree to disagree here.

We especially need a home performance that's full of battle hardened tackles and passion to get the home support back onside - even if it's a home draw that's coupled with a bit of fight that would be a start.
The crowd love a good tackle and impressive workrate/closing down as much as skills/crosses/shots etc. Unfortunately they have been lacking at times this season, and it's hard to get vocal about us doing not a lot (at least in the East anyway as starting chants normally falls on deaf ears). This is where players like McWilliams and JJOT get things going, we need to see more of that effort from everyone.

This is exactly the point of getting the crowd lifted - 11 men back for corners, hoof ball and spending 60 second before someone even moves to receive from a throw in just doesn't cut it.......... Passion is rewarded by passion - halfhearted negativity & a can't be arsed performance brings you the library like atmosphere of Sixfields.

And you are a hypocrite.
Tied yourself up into a knot there Evers. This whole conversation started because it is you who cannot consider others opinions when they are opposed to yours and instead you start to question people's integrity/status as a fan.
I disagree with your comments & do appreciate opinions from others. Even the wonky ones!

I wouldn't mind the everyone back at corners if we chased the ball out with some pace after we'd cleared it, rather than hoof it and trundle out gently. Agree with the rest though.

If you disagree, disagree but do it as another punter with another view, not as someone who believes that they have the copyright on the correct answers/opinions. You are allowed to express your opinion without constant heckling and/or sniping, allows others that opportunity. Think before you press the button to post.
Point(s) taken - will have to learn to be more civilised in future. Will now only comment in line with Forum guidelines. May the Lord help me.

Walsall V Dale today
Walsall are clear of the relegation battle so I hope they hammer Dale.

Dale will win 3 of their games in hand I reckon. They have no FA Cup to think about..I'm getting a very bad feeling here..

Worry not. Happy be. If Rochdale stay up they will deserve it.

We clearly need a Dale win! Despite being a brilliant team (think I've said ) they are highly, very highly unlikely to win all their games in hand and catch us - though of course possible. Walsall need pegging back. Our trip to Fleetwood could be our Accrington away in that nearly went out of the league a few seasons back season...Walsall away could be our Dagenham away!

Yeah, that'll make me feel a heap better, if it's at our expense.

I hope they do stay up, alongside us. Walsall are poor and I feel they will lose more games than Rochdale on the run in. Agree with the cat.
