whichever way you cut the spin it makes grim reading for a squad that acquired 47 points in L1 last season.
30 points from 26 games is lower L2 fodder, around 53 points, could get interesting if we let a couple of our stars go, Turbull and Crooks.

9 pts clear with a game in hand is fine and there has to be 2 worse teams than us so we should be OK.

Therefore I have  a very good feeling..

With the exception of Macclesfield , we are no better or worst than any of those teams at the bottom.
If we lose Crooks in the window along with KVV , it will weaken us further.
People looking up the table but nothing indicates we will climb the league as oppose to slip down it.

It's going to be a very tight relegation battle this year. A lot of clubs well in the mix.

Sleepwalking into a relegation battle...

Have we the fight to stay clear or is it finally our time after many close calls...

Please explain why we are 'sleepwalking' into a relegation battle?

I imagine it's because we've gone from being 10 points clear of safety to 6 points.

When Curle was appointed we were in deep trouble, he has steered us clear of immediate danger and when appointed that was his job description (to see us to safety). So, I ask again. Why are we sleepwalking in to relegation, when it's been the goal since Curle arrived?

I suspect people probably feel that after that great start they thought we'd nailed it and were in a false position etc.

Because the players are still mentioning the play offs!  Roll Eyes

Listen to the Pierre interview after the game...and he was the captain!

46 points seem a long way off...
