Looking forward to getting results back on track after the mess at the weekend.
I think changes will happen based upon what people have been saying. Zak in for Nyatanga, Boateng back in and if Rico is injured then Revell will come back into the squad. Not sure Maloney will be ready yet.
I'd like to see (in the diamond):
Smith Eardley Diamond Zak Buchs McCourt JJ Boateng Taylor Smith Rico/Anderson

No Revell! If rico is out also then the front two pick themselves I guess.. I can see a 0-0 stalemate.

Revell still injured or is this your personal preference? I thought he was close to be being involved again.

Unless I'm very much mistaken - it might be a badly drawn version, but I think that is a Latic Owl, now extinct,
I think you are ' pissing in the wind' with that suggestion.

According to the Chron and contrary to terrace chatter on Saturday, Williams is fit (as is Moloney). So my starting 11:
Smith
Moloney, Zak, Diamond, Buchanan
Wylde/Anderson, Williams, Boateng
O'Toole
Smith, Richards
Time to rest Taylor, though I can't ever see it happening.

The dilemma with Taylor is that I read elsewhere that he has provided 50% of our goals this season. I am not sure this is 100% correct but in any event he is the source of many goals. That is why whether under Page or Edinburgh he is one of the first names on the team-sheet. Somehow we have to accommodate him but not at the base of the midfield.

If Moloney is fit then he has to come straight back in, I'd get Zak back in too.
Thought Williams was pretty much done for?

Moloney only re-started full time training today so he cannot be fit enough yet.

Smith Eardley (Moloney if fit) -- Diamond -- Zak -- Buchanan McCourt JJ -- Boateng Williams (Wylde if Williams is unfit and adjust formation accordingly) Rico -- K. Anderson
Don't see what M. Smith offers to the team at all. Honestly think he's looked totally useless since his arrival, and his finishing is possibly the worst of anyone at the club. The sooner we get Revell back the better.

The inclusion of an Owl on their badge is a play on words as the locals pronounce it Owldam. Source the Historic Football Kits site.

What! Bring back two players who have only started training today into the match day eleven. You are joking? I hope.

Agreed. When we moved Tozer on, we went completely backwards as a club and I firmly believe we should be entirely reliant on Taylor.

Latics or Owls couldn't care less as long as we don't look like Dodo's.

You mean assists like the ones he delivered on Saturday? His first four corners failed to clear their first man, the next one went straight out for a throw in. The law of averages suggest that if one player takes every single corner and set piece, sooner or later someone will latch onto it for a goal.
