Think that screen is ok to be fair, wasn’t it put in before Kelvin took over? Agree about the smashed windows though.
I think it gives us a sense of how much more we expect from our football club, when I look back at what we have endured in the past, and now we are down to what would have been seen as nitpicking a short while back. Whilst I totally understand the argument for keeping on top of these things. I'd hope that I understand it more than most. I do have to say that there is a certain hypocrisy around it all. KT is getting pelters for not getting things painted and missing some clear maintenance and upkeep issues. Whilst some are happy to extol the virtues of two fan run clubs, who's facilities are significantly inferior to ours, even in the current state. Both Portsmouth and Exeters grounds are definitely more run down than ours. I know Exeter are building their new stand, with the assistance of enabling money. But their ground and it's facilities are clearly inferior to ours in places. Likewise with Portsmouth. I understand all of the concerns around NTFC, The Trust and the council. But it does help to add a sense of context to things sometimes. We have been limping along for as far back as I can remember, and that's a long time now. That in itself is absolutely the issue for some. But let's at least stop pretending that this is a new issue, or unique to us. I honestly think there are enough valid points raised, without get petty just because it bolster what you might see as a genuine argument. I sit in my seat at Sixfields and use it as a distraction from everyday issues that bog us all down. I'm not even a particularly political type. But in the 45+ years that I have followed the club, I have never seen so many people with a personal agenda.

I would swap run down Sixfields for the run down fratton park any day. As for Exeter, can they sustain L1 football? We definitely can't! Its great you love to see Sixfields left to rot with our team decomposing inside it, That's great for you, but you have to realise just because we've always been 5hite, it doesn't give Thomas the right to take the pi5s and not expect the supporters of Northampton town not want to match the ambitions of nearby Oxford Peterborough Luton Watford Milton Keynes and several other clubs of similar sized towns that have left us way back in the 1990s.unable to compete with them.

Yes the South car park has a lot to do with the match day experience the club had a long standing agreement with the last owner, why didn't the club buy the car park it was obviously up for sale? So you don't mind all the windows broken in the west then?
I keep being told the club have no money so I dunno how you expect them to start buying up acres of land As for the window, I sit in the North so I don't know/care about it

Well.. once again you’ve made up what I said. I didn’t mention once that I’m happy with it. Neither did I say about being content about us being 5hite. That is you rearranging what I said to suit your personal agenda.

An atmospheric Fratton End, an iconic Archibald Leitch Stand and the imposing North Stand...but ok! People argue s***e for the sake of it at times...soulless out of town bowl, or traditional s***ehole!

Come off it Coolie - Fratton park is a dump but home to a famous old club! It’s facilities for away support are poor. Have you tried going for a pea there with toilets awash with urine? Even the Romans had better sanitation more so in their forts! In any case Terry was making a comparison and he is not too far off the mark! Ever been to Stanley or Luton!

Ever been to Stanley or Luton!
This will probably be met by wails of protest and disbelief, but I'd much rather go to a game at Stanley than one at Fratton Park. It's a lovely, friendly little place that has a certain charm and homeliness you don't get at many grounds. Yes, it lacks the mod cons and you certainly wouldn't say that it's a good stadium in terms of facilities, but it's a pleasant place to visit, unlike Fratton Park! If I never have to go to Luton again I'd be quite happy though!

Easily! Not only that, better all round! Still, sure a little poll on 'Awaydays' (FB) : Which is the better ground, Sixfields or Fratton Park?' would easily settle it!

I've been to all 92 clubs - 81 with the Cobblers Around another couple of hundred non-league and Europe! Where you go wrong is your OTT moan at our facilities when compared with other clubs particularly in L2 and a few in L1 incl Oxford with its poor parking facilities, amenities and approach one way road.

Apart from Watford the fortunes of the others are debatable to put it mildly. Peterborough have not even made the top EFL...yet! Luton already have issues with their proposed new ground. As for Oxford and Milton Keynes ; bookies they are attracting poor odds to remain in L1 next season. Who are these several other Clubs? and please don't pull Stanley out of your 'other clubs' hat.

Easily! Not only that, better all round! Still, sure a little poll on 'Awaydays' (FB) : Which is the better ground, Sixfields or Fratton Park?' would easily settle it! Of course it would. But that has sweet FA to do with the facilities. Which is what I commented on. I’m with Beds. I’d much rather go to Fratton Park. Two reasons. 1. I spend many weeks of the year next to it. So I’ve got a decent angle on not only what it’s like. But also what their support thinks of it. 2. I prefer all of the old grounds to the new ones. Having said that. I did enjoy the new Spurs ground. Love MK dons stadium and Man City as well... And of course.. Stamford Bridge.
