Yeah, so perfect that they play some of their games in another stadium The Ricoh is not a good stadium for Coventry right now. They are looking elsewhere. That was my point. When they originally moved there, it was seen as a positive step, to a bigger, better ground. Look how it turned out for them!! They Now have overheads that they cannot afford. And that is why i think your position on massive sixfields expansion is ridiculous when there is currently no business case. Are you taking the pi55 or being serious 😂 At no time have I suggested that Sixfields should be massive.. never have, just to be big enough to serve a town/ county as big as ours and help the club realise its potential. Thats why I wasn't happy with KT spouting on about us not needing a 30k stadium because MK only get 12000 ...probably to avoid the major issues we're facing , which is desperately lacking capacity costing us more than £200,000 a season in lost revenues. As for the current plight of Cov city, thats not a good reason for us to remain a struggling lower league club..😂 Maybe you should meet up with myself or cool cat for a few scoops over at london bridge before the Millwall game, all Cobblers fans together and I'm sure you'll find us to be ok..

I am not really sure which part you think i am taking the piss. 'never have, just to be big enough to serve a town/ county as big as ours and help the club realise its potential. ' i want this too, but you seem clueless on the HOW to do it. You have not provided one realistic option. KT was 100% right about not needing a 30K stadium right now. And to attempt to build anything like that without some serious enabling money/land from the council would be financial suicide for the club. That will not be happening in any capacity after the last time! It has been put to you again and again there is no business case for expansion right now - especially with the East stand still being a shell. Surely you agree that finishing that should be a priority? probably followed by extending the away end, but certainly not with terracing. Ultimately we all want the same thing, but we massively disagree on how to get there.

What does finishing the East stand actually mean? for me it would be 10 boxes, fitted out restaurant, food kiosks and bar... which requires a bit of block work and cladding.. £1.5m max spend.. I fear we will get a bill for £3.5m that will be club debts to directors.. Those kind of debts are fine if they are sustainable so Instead of putting all our eggs in the East stand basket, use £1.5m on a 3000 bank of terracing behind the south stand to attract more supporters to Sixfields and allow the club to progress to being more sustainable and able to challenge in league 1. So there you go, not only the solution to our capacity problems but a financially sustainable one also... But you and I know what we can expect.. a highly polished east stand turd and some hefty debts with nothing more. The clubs foot print is ripe for development..It belongs to our club.. lets use it for the benefit of the clubs future.

Do you have some building trade experience in pricing jobs or is this a wild guess?

Where is the evidence it's costing £200,000 a season? Or is it yet more made up rubbish from you?

This year it could've been much more.. As a league 1 side we will have several clubs who would easily sell 2000 to 3000 so thats £100,000 and with a 3000 bank of terracing it would attract a few hundred more from the rest to and get involved with and enjoy the much improved Sixfields atmosphere so thats another 100,000 and thats not including the extra Northampton Town supporters who would turn up more regularly to sample what would be a great improvement to our stadium.... Is there a single supporter of Northampton Town who wouldn't want this...?

wow, its like banging my head against a brick wall. So what you are proposing is a Championship ready stadium, with a 3000 bank of terracing, which is not allowed in the Championship. Which is the exact contradiction i highlighted to you before, and then you claimed there was no contradiction. You must be a troll, no-one is this f*cking stupid surely?

Watford knocked down and built a brand new 5000 capacity stand on one side of their ground including new changing rooms etc etc. £4.5m...nothing special but functional... (I priced up the fitting out of offices in an other stand, didn't get it though 😉)

Please refrain from banging your head... At this moment you're allowed 3 years grace but in Brenfords case the waive it due to them building a new stadium in a few years.. but with the recent acceptance of standing in a safe environment, it doesn't look like that will effect us one jot... Just the lack of will and constant Belittling is whats holding us back.
