Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith has signed a new deal to stay with the Championship side until 2022.
He had a loan spell with Barnsley in league 1 so clearly has the experience. He's also played for Wednesday in the championship.
Maybe he could be a possibility and the contractual GK that's been on the radar.

Doubt it. 2 games in league 1 hardly justifies the tag of being experienced. |

If the rumours of Woodman are true then we've clearly moved on from the experienced keeper talked about when Smith left. This could be due to missing our original target or the extra investment moving the goalposts, who knows? |

So with Steer playing in goal for villa tonight in the cup and sub for the league game, Bunn seem a distant third in the pecking order and unlikely to feature at all, seems a bit of a waste at his age.

Why do people keep going on about Bunn? He is an inexperienced keeper who has wasted his opportunity of a possible decent playing career by being happy to sit on a bench with a wad of bank statements watching his bank balance rise year on year. |

So to clarify, are we signing Bunn or not??  Always thought Steer would be a decent shout, probably behind Bunn in the pecking order and I think he was at Norwich with our GK coach |

Never said it was Bunn, just watching Villa on tv and noticed Bunn is clearly 3rd choice and not going to play, as his name has mentioned on this thread a bit just seemed the easiest place to put a post about it being a waste, ther was no mention of a transfer to us or anyone. |

I think Bunn is injured though. Could be Jed Steer, we have been told one of the keepers are needed by their club because of an injury. In that case it could tie in. |
