Karl Heinz Kraft .... A German youngster who has been on trial recently
That's a name and a half - do you know any details about him?

Can this thread be renamed ? These are not rumours. Summer 2017 Fantasy list would be better suited.

My wish list is as follows...think would really help us push on
De gea John Terry(out if contract at current club) Kante Christian Eriksen Strootman Asensio Ronaldo(hear he wants new challenge) Messi( think him and Ronaldo could be dangerous)
However few injury prone ex championship players. Fringe players from.clubs like MK dons and unproven younglets from prem may have to do.

I've only ever seen Ronaldo play against us once, and would strongly suggest we can and should be looking at better.

Mark Marshall is most likely going to be leaving Bradford at the end of the season and apparently wants to move back further south.
We were linked to him last season and he was one of the most effective players I have seen against us this year up at Bradford. Ticks two boxes for things we desperately need, speed and width.

Unlikely to come to us given the diamond formation.

Sweeper keeper then? Im not sure if playing up front is a good idea for a keeper. He might concede a few.

I wonder how much the diamond formation is due to the lack of natural wingers in the squad. Dont mind having it as an option but would be concerned if its our only plan moving forward.

When JED took over I'm pretty sure we were told the Diamond or 5-3-2/3-5-2 were his preferred way of playing so I wouldn't be expecting to see a load of wingers through the door. Not a fan of the diamond at all, at the very least we should at least dominate the middle of the park but too many teams have waltzed through us. IMO the wider two of the diamond play neither central or wide so invariably get caught between the two. If we must play it then we should dominate the middle and look to have a mobile, skilful No.10 who floats around and causes problems. I'm also concerned by what seems to be his preference for two big strikers up front. Keshi maybe wasn't the best but I think he played less than 2 games as an out and out Striker and got 3 goals (albeit against an awful Cov side down to 10 men). He would have at least offered a threat on the break that would have stopped teams pushing so high up against us and robbing all the space for the midfield to play. Oops, sorry for the long, slightly off-topic post

Do we go down the route of old warhorse/ lower league veteran/ journeyman or try the released list from prem academies where they think they've made it and been paid too much without much in the way of competitive football by the age of 19-22?
Never really worked too well for us that I can think of except for Warren Donald and Keith McPherson.

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

It's mostly luck and very individual dependent. We once signed a released prem player in Marc Richards and it didn't quite work out for club or player. About a decade later, we signed an old warhorse/lower league veteran/journeyman in Marc Richards and it worked out very well for club and player.
