Banter with my Bradford supporting friend on the coming season.
"Never heard of any of them" was his reply on the signings. This is the trouble, we play most of pre-season in the lower leagues on paper. You can say we have a LOT of players.
I hope JE is the right man to get the best out of a big squad and get us playing at a higher level in a couple of seasons. He'll have his work cut out keeping everyone happy.

This.

He also needs to come up with a coherent system and first choice XI fairly soon. With such a large squad the temptation to tinker will be high.

I couldn't give a fcuk if he keeps everyone happy, as long as he  picks the right team to win games.

Has anyone noticed that Poole has been registered as a Midfielder under the first team squad on the official site?

https://www.ntfc.co.uk/teams/first-team/

He has been used mostly as a holding midfielder for United's reserve/U23 games - perhaps JED has the same intention.

Interesting, I don't see him as a first choice centre back with our other signing and from the 60 mins I saw of him vs Rushden & Diamonds. However, Man Utd wouldn't send him here to sit on the bench. If he is a holding midfielder for us, it leaves JJOT, M.Taylor, Crooks, Foley, Kasim and McWilliams fighting for 2 places, which seems unworkable.

JE doesn't have Taylor down as a holding midfielder and McWilliams out on loan?
