Nearly 8000 at the Shay, a club record, to see Halifax beat Chorley and get promoted.

The Shay is nothing like it was when the Cobblers used to play there.

Well done Halifax! Their last big day (as far as I remember) was playing Hereford Utd in the Conference Final at the (then Walkers Stadium) in Leicester.

As for Chelsea scum...

No one cares Tel.

I find it so disappointing Baldy, that on a football forum, the finest example of the beautiful game this country can offer, is met with petty spite and indifference.

Thank goodness some of us (ME cast asunder any misconceptions and prejudices to embrace the talent at the pinnacle of our chosen sport.

I genuinely thought when I penned typed this thread; that I was creating a genuine contender to the Redevelopment thread. How could I have misread you all sooooo badly.

I've been dealt a cruel blow...  Cry Cry

Wonder of Chelsea will keep the wing back system next season? I think opposition will come up with ways to beat it.

With a few tweaks and manager, Chelsea will win the champions league again next season.

And the Gunners to win the league?

If that's the trade off then so be it... I can think of a couple of Hetelenders who would love that mate.  Cool

A huge farewell to the greatest defender this country has ever seen.

Born is the king of Stamford Brigde.

We'll see if they complete the double on Saturday... Will JT wear his shin pads for that one as well?

I'd argue John Terry has probably been the premier leagues best centre back. In Jose's first spell he was arguably the best in the world.
