In the 25 years or so I regularly went to games, I never met any doom and gloom supporters.
Lots of condescending cunts on here though.

"went". Shall we conclude from that you no longer go to games? Try to respond without the use of your latest favourite word

I'm very sorry Mr Hamster for my inappropriate use of foul and abusive language.
You are quite right, sadly I no longer regularly attend games as I did throughout the eighties and nineties due to the extraordinarily time consuming commute from South East Asia. The last game I attended was away at Dagenham for the Toney show.
This is why I and I'm sure many far flung supporters find the forum a useful to way to get a little extra information, for that I thank you and the others who maintain it. Uni is quite correct though, today's social media is in reality too many people with nothing to say all speaking at the same time. It does become a little frustrating, something which you expressed yourself recently!
It's a poor substitute for decent debate down the pub, as often here the sarcasm is lost and it turns into a bun fight, this is why it can feel that there are disproportionately more miserable gits here on the forum than when in the real world, or maybe it's just down to beer? But, the world has changed and here we are and for me it's better than nothing, so keep up the good work.
Thank you for your assistance Marquis, I can now successfully log out.

Most of the misery is saved for for here Andy & Exiled are both right of course (to a degree ) Most of the sentiment in posts is lost in the mine field of interpretation. So emphasise is occasionally accentuated by colourful language, hence Exiles potty mouth I do think the art of debate is lost with repetition. The constant use of concocted scenarios, couple with second guessing KT's next move, boarders on madness with all who use it has a debating tool. We all want to see a bigger better ground. I just think some of us are more in tune with the residue of constraints that exist in the wake of Cardozas departure. The ridiculous notion that KT wants to make things worse is pathetic. For those of you who hung on every fork tongue word that DC spewed out, you should be elated at the professional approach adopted by KT. Where he only shares news, once it is worth sharing. This might fall foul of those (including me) who are desperate to see progress. But there's no denying it is far more sensible than a narrative of condescending sound bites, knocked out to assuage our thirst for anything that demonstrates a speck of progress. We will get what we get. No amount of barrack room lawyers or Internet wannabes will change that.
