The appointment of Jon Brady has to be seen as a major development by the club .
Jon is a very well respected coach in the area and has worked with my own children .
To be part of this club full time is a coup and will help transform youth development without a doubt .
A very good move .

I agree entirely - a very positive appointment, jon Brady is a massively respected youth coach in the area. Now if only premiership clubs were prevented from nicking all our best prospects for nominal fees before they get a chance to play for us.

Unfortunately there's not a lot we can do about that side of things , but I am sure Jon will be more involved in the club all round . I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this as the first step up .

Brady is a great acquisition - and will be pretty useful if we have to sack JE.

A great move for the club, and all involved.

I've always been very impressed when he's interviewed…comes across as a highly intelligent and straight talking 'manager'.

As Steve says, potentially a natural successor to JE. He did a mighty fine job at Brackley and deserves a crack at a league football at some point.

Maybe the first step in establishing the future fabled Sixfields Boot Room, we'll never look outside for a Manager again.

...we have got a boot room, right?  Grin

Of course we have .... Cardoza used to do his development updates from it.

So we didn't have a youth development programme in place before now?
As a club operating on hand to mouth and the good will if its loyal fan base due to its pathetic infrastructure, the one thing you would hope we had going for us is a free and steady stream of young talent from our large county catchment area, but it looks like MK Posh Cov and Luton have been getting in first?

Over the last couple of years, I thought our youth output has been pretty decent for a club our size. Jacobs, Toney, both Hornby brothers, now Iaciofano and McWilliams. It's one thing we did have better luxury of being able to take a gamble with in League 2, and FPP obviously raises some problems for the future of whether we'll continue to see players come through and make it in the league.

Are you unaware what the word RESTRUCTURE means?
Have you forgotten about the youth teamers that have come through in recent years?

So no big deal then just a change of personnel .. as you were, nothing to see here.

It's almost like you don't read the story and just come out with your own views no matter what.
Are you Michael Fallon?

I wont disagree because after 50 years pi55ing up the same tree..you get a feel for the same old same.
We seem to be reinventing hot dog wagons, bars , youth training... to revolutionary new heights by giving things a new title.. but they're nothing new..
We know what we want and need.. pi55 balling for time isnt it.

yes everybody knows what we need. that is why the chairman is working to make that happen. what you dont seem to be able to understand is that you say the club is losing out on money. it is the owner that is losing out on money and i am sure he is acutely aware of that. which is why i would imagine he is doing all he can to sort it as soon as possible
