I was on my way to a do in Shropshire and had Radio 5 live on, Cobblers v Hereford Utd was a featured game  Just as I reached my destination they gave out that it was 2-0 to Cobblers.  It was only a few weeks after we had beaten Liverpool and Hereford were bottom I think. At games end I got a text from my mate at the match.......Cobblers 3-......yes! ............easy I thought........Hereford 4! I don't think I've ever been so shocked by a scoreline in all my time supporting the Cobblers.

They always seemed a bit of a bogey side and checking the stats confirms this W 16 D 15 L 24. We have a better record against Manchester City!

Was this the game where Leon mckenzie scored a first half hat trick and was then substituted early second half?

And wasn't it their half time sub scored most of the goals?

Bauza who played for us before choosing exeter over us, stared for Hereford that day.
After they hauled us back to 3-3 Very few Cobblers fans begrudged them the 4th, after the initial shock there was audible laughter in the west.
One of the few times you're glad you were there, even in defeat.

You must be joking - lot of glum faces after that defeat.

Beds was happy. We'd lost and he had another few weeks worth of anti cobblers ammunition.

I remember a penalty shoot out in an LDV game at Edgar st. Early 00's. Think our first was saved but went onto win? Not sure if billy turley was the hero that night? Rubbish game, can't remember much else. Good car park 😂
Didn't miss many games down there, locals could get a bit lairy!!

We were 3-1 down in that shoot out. We then scored, they missed, we scored, they missed, we scored. 4-3 we won it!

I remember going a bit crazy, dancing along that little terrace down to the side of the pitch with the other 30 odd Cobblers fans who were there that night. Strangely, one of the most memorable away days I've been to just because of the unique way we won the match!

I remember we played them in 2011 (I think) on a Tuesday night at Edgar Street, we drew 1-1 and for some reason we were singing Oasis - Wonderwall throughout.

I only seem to have bad memories about playing them.
