I'm happy we are away both times we are on holiday.

Annoyed the MK away game is on a Tuesday (no bother for me as I can walk to the ground), hopefully we'll still take loads.

Great to see us finish the season at home too.

After a quick glance of the fixtures list.

Good that Bristol R and Oxford are both Saturday away games as they are good for an all day session.

Charlton home game is likely to be switched to good Friday

Plymouth away on Tuesday night in November Grin... I'll be there.

Funny how people complain about long away trips on Tuesdays and also complain about our closest away trip being a Tuesday night. Can't win.

Only disappointment for me is that both the Fleetwood and Blackpool away games are in the same month, planned to go for the night out on both occasions so both my liver and my wallet will be dead  Grin however on the plus side they are both Saturdays Smiley

It's tradition that when the fixtures are released people have to complain about playing the other 23 teams. It seems to catch them by surprise that you do indeed have to play all the teams twice over an entire season.

The MK comment is because on a Saturday I believe more would make a proper 'party' day of it, instead of rushing from work!
Plymouth on a Tuesday means no possibility of a golfing weekend at St Mellion as usual.

It is not an adhoc moan, there are reasons for the comment ie; as many Cobblers fans supporting the team as possible!

Same thinking behind my comment about the MK game.

Looks like a tough start to the season.  Still, best to get early season rustiness out of the way against teams who will stretch us.  Just so long as we keep our confidence up into mid-September....   Evil

It's a tough start and League 1 looks like it will be very competitive this season. Much will now depend on JED making the quality signings we need to be in the top half of the table come the turn of the year.  All is very quiet on that front but we live in hope.

Home to Blackburn 23/12 perfect warm up for Xmas. Reverse fixture scheduled for same weekend as FA4 potentially not so good if moved to a tues night.

The fcukers who complain almost certainly wouldn't get close to Plymouth, whichever day it's on! 235 of us there last time...on a Tuesday night!  Wink

As  it's customary to moan about the fixtures, I don't like the fact that we have consecutive away games over Christmas, again. Should have one of 26th/30th at home. Would have preferred Pish at home not on Aug Bank Holiday weekend, many will be on holiday. Pish away on Easter Monday the same issue. Blackburn at home so close to Christmas could cause me some family grief!
MK away on a Tues is not so bad. I hate the soulless place so not fussed about missing this one. And I'm away for the first two games so not missing much in Shrews and Fleetwood. It could be worse, could be better, we'll never all be happy.
