Its that time of year again. The time where everybody stops what they are doing for 3 weeks to look at the French countryside - the Châteaux, the wine regions, Alpes, Pyrenees and this time the Vosges and Massif Central all in one tour.
Of course that is great and one of the only reasons people watch it. Liggett and Sherwin going on about something people really have no clue about. The peleton, crosswinds, Echelons, Why can't Mark Cavendish win the tour? Team sport but its an individual sport. Autobuses, the Caravan, bidons, broom wagons, Domestiques, EPO, Slipstreams, hitting the wall, King of mountains, lanterne rouge, magic spanners, musettes, puncheurs, stagiarieres and sticky bottles.
What is not to love?
Of course for true cycling fans, one day races in belgium and the Giro are really where its at. But the complexities and traditions really showcase themselves in 3 weeks in July.

Who's excited?
Who couldn't give a f uck?
Who's going to watch it for the first time?

It really is the best sport going, and really....
What else are you going to do while the Cobblers aren't playing?

Well well well. I have to say you guys are missing out on one of the greatest sports, and one of the most amazing days I've ever seen in sport.

That's exactly the way I see it.
