I once asked on a scottish football forum which English club were most like there own club, heres the best.. Aberdeen = West ham. Ross county = Bristol city. Motherwell = Everton. Inverness = Burnley. Dundee= Southampton. Hearts = Aston villa Hibs = Leeds utd. I put us on a par with Dundee , although I believe we are a much bigger club than them in need of some real investment 😉

I am beginning to worry about your ability to read into other Fan Club Forums. That Aberdeen forum was gross, any sane voice which pointed out the merits of Taylor was howled down by a tiny but vociferous minority shouting as if for Independence. Furthermore most of the negativity seemed to have occurred in 2016 and one game at that. Any Club; particularly Scottish Prem who thought that Diamond was "gash" need to realign their opinions pronto! STFC Forum to me looked like a case of sour grapes; AFC Forum was beyond reason and hope. Can I ask which beverage have you been drinking recently?
Tbf Evers, you've always appeared to lack the ability to read anything that constitutes a paragraph...full stop! My posts regarding The Granite City's finest being a case in point!

Archer in particular came in for some rough and ready treatment on here. Now look where he is.
Always rated Webster...ditto! The experts on footie have been found wanting quite frankly!

Am sure you are right, but you do like to avoid the issue regarding for example the AFC forum which you have misunderstood or worse taken at face value! Some of the comments on this Forum are quite frankly pretty poor value , full of abusive comments both personal and more often than not resort to one line obscenities. Where I agree with you is your criticism of those wildly OTT (on here) welcome messages to recent new signings.

My cousins an Aberdeen fan and he described him as 'not great', hopefully he will shine at league 1 level though. If he doesn't, we're stuck with him for a while...

All hypothetical of course but I reckon with current squads Celtic would be mid-low Prem, Aberdeen lower Championship, the rest of the Scottish Prem would be League 1, League 2 or Conference.
I would agree with this. I see that Rangers crashed out of Europa Qualifying to some Luxembourg part timers. Whilst I appreciate that they have had their problems in the last couple of years, you would still expect them to walk through this fixture.

I've got a mate who is an Aberdeen fan and he said Taylor was a steady defender prone to the occasional mistake. Not sure how serious to take his opinion because he is one of the biggest p155 heads I've ever met.

If the worst comes to the worst, at six foot five we can stick the fecker in goal.

About Scottish clubs playing in England - you fail to understand that Celtic would have the supporter base and financial resources (including Prem t.v. revenue) to compete at the top end. The same applies to Rangers but presently they are well behind Celtic in every respect. All academic because it won't happen. But what has this got to do with NTFC?

Exactly why I put "with current squads" in my post. What's it got to do with NTFC? Simple, we have a new signing and people are trying to understand the level of football he has come from relative to where we play I would say
