I'm sure he's had a mention on the transfer thread but this signing definitely warrants its own thread. What a great signing. Get him fit and loved by the fans and he'll be up there with John-Joe in our hearts. Welcome Kasim, can't wait to see your Sixfields silky skills.

The only thing I find a bit odd about this is, didn't we release our vice captain earlier this summer because of his international commitments? Then we go and sign another international who'll potentially miss a full month in the last season of his contract for the AFC Cup.

Don't get me wrong, if he's a class act he's worth signing just for what he can contribute in the games he is available. But it's strange to me that we weren't willing to budge a bit more to keep Zak.

I don't think he wants to play International football. He refused to play in 2015 and then again in 2017.

Such a class act that Swindon haven't been playing him...and let him go!

They play home games at Latimer Park. I'll see if I can dig up the link, think it's buried in a box with the WUM/WMD file.  Cool

Because the usual tripe would at least be relevant to Ash Taylor. Granted, the English is actually an improvement on the usual Northampton fans commenting.

You are having a genuine "laugh" surely? No No I read it as subtle sarcasm.

Wouldn't have thought so seeing as he's on the bench and Iraq's next game is end of August.

Can't see that he's even been picked for their last few matches. Maybe out of favour by the manager.
