No problems here either - but I had no issues with my Email address. My biggest concern is that the club invest in a decent camera to film the games - would be great if they can offer more than one angle as well! Also important that audio commentary is in sync with the video, but again I understand this is up to the club to decide whether they offer audio or not. Is anyone taking any notes??

I was under the impression that the IFollow had replaced cobblers player but I might be wrong, IFollow seems fine so far.

I'd say your best bet is to email the club and see If they can help you, they might have a fix.

I've seen on other clubs forums that the vpn has worked for them in signing up so hopefully it will be working for the matches when they start, this is very handy for me as I've been a season ticket holder for 9 years but I'm off to uni in September so can only attend the games up north.

I think you can only view games if you are abroad

The VPN gets you around that, like if your abroad you can use it to watch something on BBC Iplayer for example.

You can sign up and view all videos on there, with the exception of Live Matches, which are only available to overseas subscribers.
There are countless VPN sites you can access for free that will trick the site into thinking you're visiting from a different country.

Is anybody going to actually try the VPN trick? I'm dubious after using a UK VPN in Greece to watch ITV player and the login system still detected I was not in the UK.

I'm going to try it, but by going through a Proxy server in Paris.

Il give this idea one season Once everyone decides to find ways to watch a match on it on a cold Tuesday in Feb rather than attend, the clubs will soon be worrying as revenue drops and the service will stop Seems a ridiculous idea imo.

I have not yet heard one person say 'oh excellent, I can stop going to away games now'

So far so good. I'll be doing the season pass in a week or so. Its a bit steep but to watch the games will be nice.

Your forgetting our new army of Chinese supporters. Do you not want them to watch live games? Being 6000 miles away myself it would be nice to watch football rather than the videoprinter, although if your willing to cover my flight costs, business only, I'll still prefer to attend on a cold February night. Would make a nice change to 90deg every day. Can you pick me up from Heathrow?

Working well from my location in Europe so no need to use a proxy ip server - however the best one I've found for that from here for BBC iPlayer and Sky etc is ibVPN (It's a paid for service but a lot of the free ones now seem to be detectable by the broadcasters)
However I think they may have built in protection via the registration address as I put in my non U.K. address and tried to pay with a U.K. credit card and was rejected with a message that payment source must match registered address.
Just re Ifollow and the apple app - no joy screening it via Apple TV to the big screen - sound but no video, however works ok via the standard website link - slightly reduced screen size but put the tv zoom X1 and you get a full screen with not much loss of resolution

One thing that bugs me, is that there is no option to pay monthly as there was with player, As a pensioner that was good for me,As it must have been for others.
