I have changed my VPN to France, and payed for the Charlton game. Does the Video automatically start when the match it kicks off? At the minute I only have the option to listen to it, and there is no option to stream it!
Yes it won't start until kickoff. There should be an option to watch it if you're in France. There's a TV camera icon click that.

For goodness sake Doc we are NOT going down you heard it here 1st (I damn well hope that does not come back to haunt me)

Good coverage today - still about 30 secs delayed from live and the sound is about 10 seconds behind the action but all in all great value for exiled fans.

Watched for first time today having signed up over the Summer and having lacked Wifi access for the last 2 weeks. Mostly smooth with good picture quality and camera angle to see all the action clearly. The only thing was that the picture got jerky in the last 20 mins (causing me to miss our only goal so far this season).

To be honest I prefer the commentary on radio Noddy. Nothing against the visual feed I have just always preferred audio generally be it football cricket or whatever. I spend most of my spare time listening to the BBC. For the midweek games I am able to listen in the car whilst at work driving round Melbourne, a thrill I never seem to tire of. Ain’t modern technology marvellous? The only criticism I would have is that once you come off the ifollow main screen the connection drops. Therefore if I was listening to the game and say wanted to make a comment on here I would lose the commentary and would need to log in again. This is a right faff and would explain the lack of comments from us Johnny Foreigners during game time. That and having fell asleep on account of being thoroughly refreshed following a night out obviously.

I enjoyed the novelty of the visual feed for a handful of games, however like others have mentioned, I prefer the commentary as it means I'm less sedentary and I can pair it with a task. In terms of content outside of match-day, it's average. If the club employed a few creative types, with good equipment then I'm sure they could curate better quality content outside of the usual interviews.

If you open two tabs, you can have both but it takes a sec to sync it. The VPN tip works as well if you are in the UK. It hasn't really stopped me going to the games I want to either. Nothing beats live football. But then I can only get to an average of 15 a season.

How do you mange to sync audio and video with the two tab approach? this is what i do (two tab), but audio is usually 1 minute ahead of video and if you pause the audio and then start playing again, it jumps back to live broadcast and remains ahead. Surely it cant be too difficult for them to have the commentary on the video. the option for 'Home' and 'Away' is even there in the player, but i just get crowd noise either way.

You have to move the TV player button at the bottom so its not all the way on the right. You can tweak it back so it lines up with the commentary. The 2 things that suck is that it doesn't restart for the second half so you have to sync it up again and that women on there Carol or something is a Blert.
