So who's making the trip to sunny Somerset on Tuesday evening?
Frome looks unexpectedly nice from Google street view!
Bath for a few ales around 4pm, then the 45 min bus ride to Frome. Possibly the Griffin or in the town centre, Three Swans and a few others I think.
Hope there's a full squad taken - good to see who we've all been talking about!

I doubt very many fans will make the pilgrimage for what looks to be a pretty one-sided friendly, but all the best to anyone who goes and I hope it's a good day out for them.

My suggested team would be:

CORNELL

MOLONEY TAYLOR BARNETT BUCHANAN

KASIM FOLEY

BOWDITCH O'TOOLE POWELL

RICHARDS

How bloody good is it to have lots of options for once? Even more options when the final few are signed.

Is there are reason for us choosing Frome for a PSF (or them choosing us)?

Just seems odd/ random.

Shame there is no Brackley game this year!

I'm there, only 25 mins from me and I'm working in Frome too, so very happy to see this game added to our pre season games. Frome is a lovely picturesque market town close to the Somerset Wiltshire border. The archangel in town is also decent. Its also on the train line from bath, but station is a fair walk/taxi ride to the ground.

Yep, it's something to do with a one of our charity partners, specific reason it was chosen.

Yes, the Brackley fixture had become a rather traditional one. However, there is next Saturday's Maunsell Cup game against Kettering at Latimer Park, which kinda replaces that.
Personally, I'll be at Trent Bridge with the Steelbacks for the East Mids double-header (Leicester on the Friday)!

Miss the Brackley fixture. Up until a couple of years ago it turned out to be the best game of the season.

Would probably rather see O'Toole as part of a midfield 3 which each of them rotating it as to supporting the front three. Maybe Poole in for either Barnett or Taylor for a bit more ability on the ball and I'd definitely rather see Walters in for Bowditch.

Very much agree on JJOT, he's played his best football for us playing deeper and his worst in a more advanced position.

As for the others I'm liking what I've heard of Walters to date but I'm also happy to see different combinations being tried out for the front 3 in pre-season
