I like it. The maximum use of claret - no white collar or white on the arms - and the lines are an unique feature. They are obviously pointing upwards towards our badge, the heart and promotion.
Alternatively, the bars are obviously a visual representation of the final L1 placings for this season, with the top part the promoted teams, and NTFC sitting immediately below them. Yes my glass is half empty thank you very much.

I quite like it on first impression. Is the design unique to us, not seen it on any other lower league kits so far

I'd say unique... not seen it in the teamwear ranges for Nike.

Happy with it, and much happier than the two tone we could have had like Posh.

Next question is whether they'll do a 3rd one this time...

Being one of the only gays on here and therefore having far more fashion nous than any of you. I really like it, shows off the tatts very nicely. very homo erotic on some players Shocked
Would I part ££££s to buy one? Of course not, for the aforementioned reason. although I was thinking of a new "kit" to replace my NTFC FOOTBALL SPECIAL number for this season.
Could be unveiling my new shirt at the Shrewsbury game if I go.

I don't think Sam Hoskins likes it
He looks like he's worried about getting his school homework done to me.

Defo one of the more original kit designs of recent years. Haven't seen it up close but looks like the stripes have been printed on to a stock template rather than sublimated. If so watch out when you are ironing!

Would like to see us move to a smaller heritage brand like Hummel if there is a break clause with the outsourced club shop company. They far outdo Nike when it comes to complete bespoke design.

Still, this shirt will sell well.

If the stripes are indeed printed on... I suspect it'll become a bugbear for some, in a few months when people have put them on too hot a wash / tumble dried etc.

(Free tip; best washed inside out, 30/40 degrees tops, and not tumble dried!)

Free tip; if you don't wash it, you never need to tumble dry it.

Next question is whether they'll do a 3rd one this time...

When I picked my shirt up earlier I was told by Wendy in the shop that the 3rd kit is out in 2 weeks and its very different!

Regarding the new kit, how's it fitting? What I mean is I usually get a medium and can just about get away without looking fat in usual football shirts, if it's more of a tight fit though then I'm certainly going to require a large.

I normally wear XL and bought XL, and it is fine for me! Much bigger than the home from last year which was skin tight on me!

Totally jealous of the Hummel shirt for Charlton. Leagues apart in terms of attention to detail and quality. https://www.cafc.co.uk/news/view/59723e0c4825a/charltons-201718-home-kit-revealed

I didn't like our new shirt at first but it's grown on me.

That Charlton shirt looks like the fake shirts you get in thailand.
