About time isn't it? Week on Saturday.

I'll start you all off with a little tip, the cheapest rail fare from Northampton to Shrewsbury is West Midlands Day Ranger £25.60 Validity covers  Northampton to Shrewsbury. I think that will be cheaper than tickety split, certainly cheaper than the off peak return ticket (£29). Although there may be a group save fare available.
Good to be talking about a proper game. Although can't really call it can we, except to say Shrewsbury is a place where given the investment we should expect to pick up three points should we not?

They played Wolves/or Villa on Sat and won 2-0 which is slightly better than us recently. I cant understand why you don't use the Buses, cheaper and quicker from Leicester to Shrewsbury.

Buses? From Leicester?
Clearly the travel clubs are cheaper, but freedom, options plus I won't be on a travel club coach.

Standard day return fare is £29.60 so yes the day ranger is the cheaper option!

You can get railcard discounts and a family day ranger is the price of two adults (£51.20) for a maximum of 2 adults and 4 children.

Be warned though, its quite a trek from the train station to the football ground.....I did it last season!! Nearly 2 and a half miles each way and takes a good 45 minutes, Nice scenery though!!

There is a football special bus that runs from the bus station in the town centre it drops you off right outside the ground. After the game it is allowed to leave around the queues leaving the car park.

No need for the trek...buses run from just up the steps from the Three Fishes pub in the town centre. Takes no more than 10 minutes, even with traffic. Last season, got it around 2.15pm...at the Greenhous for before 2.30pm! Bus stop round corner from ground after into town no bother!
Do be warned about taxis though...call for one around 1pm and you'll get 4pm at the earliest from any taxi company. Bizarre!

I watched them beat the Villa. Not to be under estimated. Their confidence will be high.

They'll be felling arrogant and think they're better than they are. Our players have points to prove after a couple of poor performances to lower league local teams

Could work out either way

Which is about the same by car from Northampton I would imagine. That's pretty good then.

Not door to door though, because as mentioned before they play out of town now.

We will struggle to tame these If as indicated they sign Niall Ennis from wolves on loan
He played and scored against us in a pre season match last year and was outstanding on the day.
Would have loved to have seen him here.
