That's not what he said at all. He was being pragmatic; it's not needed yet so we aren't doing it yet. I think the key word there is "yet".
Exactly, but then people have to have there little whinge don't they. As far as the moan about undisclosed transfer fees goes, it like we are the only club in the world to do this. In fact pretty much every transfer I have seen this summer the fee has been undisclosed. Even some contract lengths have been undisclosed.. Just get over it, it makes no difference what so ever

One thing that Evers got wrong was the catering, NTFC had been in dispute with Centreplate over a loan taken out by DC to build the kitchen in the East Stand. The loan has now been paid back but the 10 year contract with Centreplate has been dissolved and the catering has been taken back "in house". Claire & Paul, the main people on the catering staff, were offered the chance to go with Centreplate or stay at NTFC, they chose to stay. The really good thing about this is that ALL the profit from the food and drink now goes into NTFC and not into an outside firm. So if we all drink enough beer in Carr's Bar, we can then buy another player !

The "undisclosed fee" culture is a problem across the game. It could easily be stamped out with a global transfer clearing house as employed in the NFL.

That is very good news and a major source of income that we were missing previously, hopefully the prices and standard will now decrease and improve respectively?

I also thought KT came across as a bit pissed off with the whole saga regarding development and people questioning him so much. Easy to forget that we had a huge £10m opportunity and some buffoon ruined it.

One thing KT confirmed was that Matt Taylor came here with no intention of playing every game (ended up playing in 43). I'm sure some on here were spouting bollocks about his contract stating he must play all available games??

I was pretty impressed with him the season before last. Again and again people need to realise that we wouldn't havevbeen palying AFC Rushden and Kettering in meaningless games, it would have been in league games. Secondly on the woman asking about transfer fees paid. How on earth would she have used the information had she got it? Tittle tattle it on one of the travel buses or in the stand when Crooks had an off day?
Good comments, Pattcobb.

I've just read that gillingham are also in the midst of a lengthy and expensive legal battle with centreplate - their dispute has dragged on for a while now, let's hope ours doesn't get too messy.

I'm pretty sure that Kelvin said that it had been sorted.

He said that it is in dispute and people far more cleverer than him are trying to resolve it. He said they will have to pay the loan back but it sounded to me that it hasn't yet been paid back.
