I have been on facebook, and now have a rough idea of what happened. I feel so sorry for his wife Keryl, and all of his family. I have met up with Tebbs at a few England away games in the past, he was a good lad. Taken way too soon. RIP.

Top bloke who went to most games, spoke with him at many half time briefings. Very sad, he will be missed.

It has been suggested on FB that we have a minutes applause on the 38th minute at Shrewsbury on Saturday. Fitting I think. Tebbsy and Keryl went everywhere with the Cobblers, whether it be Plymouth on a Tuesday night, Hartlepool, wherever! You'll be missed Tebbs.

After watching the cricket last night on TV, it really brought out some emotions as I remember celebrating with Tebbsy after we won the T20 at Edgbaston last year. What a great day out that was.
Although I knew of Tebbsy for many years since I started going to away games in the early 2000's, I never really got to know him until I was on stag do with him a few years ago. I didn't know too many of the guys on the trip and ended up spending a lot time together and becoming good friends after.
I remember turning up to the Luton home game in our title winning season and telling him I was planning to drive home to Bristol after the game. Within minutes he persuaded me to stay and let me sleep on his sofa and the subsequent celebrations / night down the Welly Road after that game will live long in the memory.
I've made so many good friends over the years purely on the basis that we support the same football club and I can only be grateful for sharing these experiences with such good people.
RIP Tebbs and sending my condolences to Kez and all the family.
