Who's going? Hoping we can take around 1000 for a game in a decent location against higher league opposition.

Where would people recommend for a drink? Not just necessarily near the ground (although a pub near the stadium would be handy!) but also around London in general as my group are gonna make a day of it.

Hoping we play a few of the younger lads and see a more motivated performance than the one today. Certainly no reason why Lobjoit, Long, Kasim and Poole shouldn't start as they can't perform worse than the ones today. Richards and Matty Taylor should certainly not start as, even if they are first XI players, they're not capable of playing in every game all season.

Our group are travelling from Bedford railway station. We normally start at the Euston Flyer and move on from there.

I hope to be there, work schedule permitting. My site is near St Pancras, so its an easy hop on the tube for me. Somewhere around Sheperds Bush Green should be OK for a beer. The only pub that I can recall near to the ground, was the Springbok, and that was an absolute dump. Thats assuming that it is still trading.

You never know we beat Derby but whats worrying is the team is just like last season with different players. The last min loss also echos from last season as well.

I have said previously that the recruitment has been as good as for a decade BUT I am concerned if JE will get them playing as a team from them.

I know we need a keeper and have injuries already but if he wants to play 5-3-2 formation then you require wing not full backs, plus a passing centre back to retain possession (our biggest fault).

Only FOUR of yesterdays team would feature in my selection next week!

                 Experienced Keeper,

                  Taylor, Poole, Pierre,
Moloney,                                        Smith,

            McWilliams, O'Toole Crooks,

                           Long, Waters

Better ball retention, more pace and therefore, hopefully, more chances created!

Over to JE (and the fitness coaches).

Was umming and arrghing about this as I'm off to Charlton and going to an extra cup game this month would stretch my budget.... Think I'll save my pennies. That said, I think the hoops are one if those Championship teams that can't really be arsed with this cup so if we get rid of this formation and 'go back to basics' we might have a good chance. Drop Bowditch as he seemed anonymous, and replace him with Kasim as we seemed to perk up a bit with him on.

I'll be there, Notting Hill Gate, walking on down through Holland Park to Shepherd's Bush.
Predicted us taking 900 to Shrewsbury, 1,053 a pleasant surprise!
Don't think any chance of 1000 to QPR (now!)...687!

Nope, I made it explicitly clear that I'm *hoping* for over 1000.

I expect fewer, maybe 800, although I don't think it's impossible that we could take that figure.

Cobblers win 1-0 in front of 450  shoe town army.
The pressure of league games will be lifted for this one and there is a decent team in there somewhere that was absent in Shrewsbury.
Defensively sound but the clueless midfield/ wingbacks and forwards need to get things working, and this is a good time to show what they can do.

...hopefully the "style of play on the game" isn't the same one as against Shrewsbury!

I reckon the footballing gods will give us some good cup runs this year to offset the relegation league form and stories about money laundering. I would go so far as saying I reckon we'll make the semis just to provide that bittersweet element as we are relegated to League Two by April.

Therefore an easy 2-0 win to the Cobbs.
