It all remains very vague as to what the Chinese bring to NTFC.  I am not against it at all but some clarity would be welcome.  The Mail on Sunday reported that the investment sum is £6 million.  True or false I don't know but it is the only place where I have read any reference to the money involved.  Whether or not £6 million has found its mysterious way to NTFC's bank account I very much doubt. Again, I have no means of knowing but I would hazard a guess that KT and colleagues received their investment money in the club back through the Chinese paying an entry fee to NTFC Ventures or for KT et al transferring 60% of their shares in Ventures to the Chinese.  Neither KT not the Chinese are under any obligation to disclose such information but the questions should be raised since this all fundamentally affects our club.  The silence from KT is no surprise but where are our voices?

Little doubt in my mind some money has found its way to JED's playing budget over and above what KT allowed him.

That may well be true but we are, perhaps, talking of about £6 million.  Therefore, the question comes back to the basic starting point that if this figure is accurate or whatever net figure it is what does it mean for the club on and off the pitch.  It seems to me no one and including, dare I write it in fear of being shot to pieces by their representatives posting on this site, the Trust, is asking the questions.  There may be valid reasons for holding back but fear of upsetting KT should not be one.

You are perfectly at liberty to write to KT or the Chinese investors directly.  It might be a better use of your time and energy than posting on here. However, I expect you'll get the same answer - in effect "it's none of your business".

You mean 5USport? Not 'The Chinese'.
If you look, the quote I was replying to called our new owners "the Chinese", so that is why I put that. I think you might be nit picking with your post, I seriously doubt that anyone on here didn't know who I was talking about.    Wink

Bit rich coming from you surely??? No subtlety whatsoever, and usually confined to "I've got a bad feeling..." or in this case, dumb insults that have no bearing on the person aimed at!
Try getting to more than one game every two or three years...I managed to no probs when living abroad!
...and you brought along a pretty lady to accompany you too, Rob.

Does anyone really believe that the Chinese investors put money into the club because of our educational prowess........... Grin
Honestly it's too silly for words we have Cardoza's house behind the south stand and are sponsored by the university apart from that is there something bleeding edge the club are doing that is unique?.
