Unless you've heard/read something that I haven't I was under the impression that JJOT is hoping to be back tomorrow/next week? On grimes the best bit of information on Wikipedia is that he was an ultimate frisbee champion as a youth!

On paper a great signing. Lets hope he does better than the last loan player we had from Swansea

A very interesting signing.
I'm hoping that JED's assertion that Grimes 'can also play in the number 10 role' means that he sees him as the much-needed playmaker that we've lacked over the past three games. Hopefully this will mean that he'll try Waters in a more advanced role and drop Revell/Richards to the bench.
Also appears to answer the lack of dead-ball-specialist issue, judging from that highlights reel.

A great signing...
Slightly strange having a squad with 7 CMs and one winger though.

I know he's been to a specialist this week but JED said depending on how that went he was hoping that JJOT might be back tomorrow or next week, not the long term absence that evers was hinting at.

NTFC on social media said he's available for selection.

The way it is being played with 2 CM's and a No.10 then we have 9 or 10 players fighting for 3 positions so clearly the balance is a bit off. As others have said you would definitely expect there to be some outgoings now

A great signing and he will play behind the front two . Not sure where that leaves Bowditch or Hoskins but it means Waters can play as a goal scorer . JED is now under pressure to make this happen because we have the players most teams would envy . Some players will be shipped out now I think .

Slight note of caution, Leeds fans are scathing about his loan there from Swansea saying how bad he was. Obviously a massive step up from Exeter so interesting to see what division he levels out at.

Leeds fans, and most of big clubs especially on social media, are always overreactive.

Yeah agree with this. Read some of their comments and mostly they seem pretty vile and ridiculous. I'm sure he will be of good quality and we should judge him on how he plays for us. You don't get bought for £1.5m if you're rubbish!

Wow - his loan spell at Leeds sounds like it was horrendous, their fans haven't got a good word to say about him and his mum got involved on social media which didn't go down too well with the supporters.
