Wow - his loan spell at Leeds sounds like it was horrendous, their fans haven't got a good word to say about him and his mum got involved on social media which didn't go down too well with the supporters.

Well certainly unwise of his mother but some of the more extreme comments from their fans are nothing short of disgusting - absolutely open minded but truly hope he is not being sent to us to sort out an attitude issue. Graft and do your best & you will be very welcome.

Well, I really know nothing, I though his spell there was ok. I've sacked the Leeds fan I know as my Leeds correspondent!

As with all new signings, all I care about is how he does for us

Who was the last player we had with an interactive mum, Ben Tozer?

A squad packed with midfielders but on last Saturday's showing they didn't need any, just hoofing the ball from defence hoping Revell would get on the end of it.

Leeds fans, and most of big clubs especially on social media, are always overreactive.

I'm sure that can be applied to every club.

Promising signing.
Don't worry, none of those dirty little puns from me this time.

I don't know how anyone can think this is anything other than a great signing .
Although players from Swansea recently have been dire .
How are Kenji and Alfei doing these days ?

Kanji scored a fairly good free kick the other night for Swansea u-16s or whatever it is in the no fans trophy. I know he was poor for us but I still reckon there's a half decent player in there somewhere.

Alfei spent last year at Aberystwyth Town, before being released. Says it all really.
He then signed for Yeovil, and as I recall GJ, in his early tenure here, constantly made subs withdrawing full backs, leaving a gaping hole down one side.
Sounds like a marriage made in heaven to me.  Cheesy

It can be, but there's more of them.

Replacement for Matt Taylor?

Looks like it. Hopefully we can get Taylor off the payroll.

As for Alfei. Yeovil conceded 8 in his debut. Subsequently dropped. Id prefer Alastair Slowe at RB.

MOTM for me even though he was only on for about half hour. Got a sweet left foot and liked to ping the ball about. Could be handy as the player in the hole IF we keep this bloody formation, if not then as the left winger in a 442.

JED  “The reason we brought him (Grimes) here was that we knew what was going to go on with Matt Taylor, and he is a like-for-like replacement."

Had Matt Taylor already decided that the probable bench warming wasn't for him and informed the club?
Good on him if that was the case, enabling us to source a suitable replacement.

I hadn't thought of it like that .
You automatically think that Taylor left because Grimes arrived .
If grimes only came because Matt freed up the club of his wages, then he deserves credit for that

Looks better like that than the way Swindon fans are thinking about it! They reckon they swapped Kasim for Matty and have come out of it pretty well!
