As and When JED does get the boot (which seems only a matter of time presently) - Where do we go next given KT has got it horribly wrong twice now?
Maybe the calibre of applicant will be higher given the investment?
Trouble is I can't think of too many names that would get me excited. My thinking is it would have to be someone with expiriance in league 1 and the championship

I've not got a clue.
There's no obvious option, which might make KT hold fire for longer. I'd expect theyre looking at options in the background though.

Like you say, very few obvious options come straight to mind.

I say give him a chance to rectify what's gone wrong. The new signings brought into him and he needs to get the best from them . Let's see what he can do and what he is prepared to change . I think he needs help on the training field . My worry is that his demeanour after Saturday in that interview was one of a defeated man .

Fair shout.
Tisdale I mean.
Hope your hunch is right Shoey, had someone message me earlier that they're "holding talks". Probably bollocks though as not from someone I would class as ITK.

I like the look of tisdale, but in reality he has achieved nothing! - granted on very limited funds. I really do feel after to massive abject failings we would go for someone who has done well in this league and has championship expiriance, after all thats where we want to be. The investment will make us a more attractive proposition im sure

I don't want JED to stay but this somehow feels a bit odd with him still in a job. Having said that My picks when Wilder went were Ardley or the Cowley brothers so I'll stick with one of them. Probably couldn't get either but you never know. Something Wilder (and Knill)esque about the Crowley and their career trajectory.

I would say so normally, but it seems (like with Page), the inevitable is going to happen sooner or later - so no reason not to discuss. I was more thinking about the likes of Brain Mcdermott, Alex Neill (is he still out of work??) = that sort of calibre?

I think Alex Neal is now managing Preston

Yup, as others said Neil is at Preston and I think his stock is probably high enough that he'd be out of reach, even with the extra investment. McDermott is an interesting one but he's only really done well at Reading, albeit there were mitigating factors at Leeds. Could perhaps be one of those who was just a very good fit at a certain club.

He's had his chance. Stubborn manager with no progression whatsoever & awful tactician. If we were playing players in their correct positions and playing on the front foot trying to actually win games I would agree with you but it's been bloody awful to watch. Don't mind losing providing we give it a right go... Just because there seems to be no immediate outstanding candidates out there, is not a reason to stick with JE... I'd be happy with Brady at the helm in the interim while KT & the Sunshine Band try to appoint the right fit... With the investment I'm sure we could now poach someone under contract or go down the respected coach role like Luton did with Nathan Jones.
