Just been told Nigel Adkins is being interviewed this ardernoon, one name we could all agree on as the man to take us forward. If he can get scunny up to the championship twice with an exciting side he would easily do the same here. 100/1 at the bookies, lump on.
Awful. Couldnt take Sheff u up....playing awful football....no thanks....on the slide

I hear Bayo is also meeting with the club, whether that's an interview or just to ask his opinion I don't know

Interesting first interview at QPR with JFH...
In which he was asked what his philosophy was, to which he replied that he doesn't have one and will fit into the "clubs philosophy"
He was also asked about his preferred formation, he said he doesn't really have one and he's flexible and can change from week to week.
He also says how important it is to bring through youth players.

Adkins odds slashed
You can't be serious in wanting Adkins??? Guy couldn't even produce (Saints aside was it!) with a hefty budget! Given you looking for aspirational leaders to take the club to the next level...why would you want a less than glorified has-been?

If it is Hasselbaink I would be happy with that.
His record is actually pretty strong. Unblemished stints at Royal Antwerp and Burton.
Even his time at Q.P.R. isn't too shabby. They finished 12th in his first season. I think he lost 13 in 42 games overall and had a slightly better points per game record than Holloway did the season he was replaced by him. That season they also finished a place lower than when he left them.

Whoever the new manager is, I'd get them on a 12-month rolling contract like we did with Wilder.
Too many two-year payouts in the last decade.
Zero hours contracts are all the rage these days!

If it's him, or someone else, we as fans can judge them on their performance only with NTFC. Whilst past appointments and managerial jobs might provide a pointer that's all they do. Managers have differing degrees of success at different clubs dependant on a number of things. Look how successful Johnson was before he came to us, how successful Adkins was at Scunny vs Southampton. So many variables, so a clean slate as far as I'm concerned.
