In line with having to rearrange games as close to original date, now re-scheduled for the above date.
Doubt I'll be able to make this now. Ticket and hotel booked for original, I know quite a few others had pre-booked London Midland tickets as far as Crewe. Think a jolly in Lichfield or Stafford on the cards!  Shocked  Grin

Luckily living in Sheffield it isn't too far a stretch to still make this game.

Absolutely ridiculous if you booked through Trainline... they charge a £10 cancellation fee which turned out to be a quarter of the total price for the train tickets.

In future I'll just buy them on the day I think...

Bit of a Catch 22 though isn't it...pre-book is usually cheaper (hotels or trains for that matter)...but then there's the risk! Must say, hadn't seen a postponement of this game. Lucky I hadn't yet booked a car!

By my calculations none of 3 Wigan players have had any game time so far while on the international duty.

Bit of a pointless postponement in my book, but hope it works to the cobblers advantage in the re-arranged game when a new man should hopefully be in charge.

Used already booked train tickets (pre-postponement)  to go to Blackpool v Wimbledon. Terrible game but Blackpool especially got the ball wide regularly to both of there fast paced and direct midfield wingers. (Not wingbacks)

Getting the ball wide regularly in midfield is something unfortunately I've not seen the cobblers do much this season. Opposing sides I've seen that cobblers have faced so far this season (and Blackpool) get the ball wide regularly and seems to me to be a key tactic  to be successful in league 1 this season.
