Maybe Melville who organises most of our recruitment?

Surely means Cornell is off? Possibly back to Oldham?

Great signing. Not sure where that leaves Cornell and Coddington.

It's like those heady Martin Wilkinson days when we had a third choice goalkeeper in League Two.

What a strange piece of news !!
Coddington must wonder WTF he has done coming here .
Ingram looked really good against us and his distribution is extremely good and quick .
It surely strongly links us to JFH

Didn't have too much to do against us at Loftus Rd...but pleased about this!
The day just keeps getting better!

Maybe Coddington was told when signing he was seen as one for the future / would be 2nd choice? I know it was said when he signed that the game changed when he became available permanent, maybe the club thought he was too good a prospect to pass up. Cornell on the other hand is probably pretty miffed, this would seem to make him 3rd choice (albeit a new manager might place him above Coddington)

It could just as easily link us to Ainsworth as it does JFH...probably 2+2=5

From BBC sport

"Edinburgh sacked by Northampton

Not transfer news, but Northampton Town have parted company with manager Justin Edinburgh.

The Cobblers have lost all four of their matches this season and are bottom of League One.

We're guessing they won't be making any signings today, then. "

Bad guess.

At QPR it was excellent . There was one or two pin point throws and kicks to the half way line that set them counter attacking very quickly

Hope so, doubt it's Oldham as they've already signed a 'keeper today. I had a feeling we'd sign another more experienced 'keeper before the deadline, nobody in their right mind would have just Coddington and Calamity Cornell on the books!

Good signing and well done to Mr Carr (if indeed it was him) for getting this bit of business done despite the managerial departure.

Doubt it, this signing was probably arranged when JED was still here. I don't think it links us with anyone.
