I like the way Jimmy conducts himself in interviews . He is pretty honest and doesn’t patronise supporters with bluff . You can see he demands a much higher workrate from the players and some are made to come in on sundays now . You just get the feeling the whole place is more disciplined .

Interesting comment from JFH that we have only three strikers ! Not sure what on earth Waters and Lobjoit are doing here then . Can’t understand the Waters situation at all . Surely we should be looking at him in an advanced role

Agreed. Same with Long and why can we not give Iaciofano or Lobjoit and run out? Pretty sure Hoskins is a striker as well, just ended up playing wide as we needed pace.

Lobjoit is the one I'm surprised about. All the videos of him putting extra training in during the close season - and the fact he seems to score in most training/reserve games! He must look bad in training. Hopefully he'll go out on loan to a conference side and score a bucket load.

Yeah, I meant him getting an opportunity up top rather than out wide as part of a three.

Waters has been playing in an advanced position right of the front three. It is not a right winger position. To my mind he is more of an old "inside right position". He has not exactly been the goal scoring fwd we all hoped for and rarely looks up to it. You will get the same performance from him wherever he plays dynamic surges across field rather than direct. Inevitably he runs into trouble. Bench player at best. Perhaps "Lovejoy" should be given more of a decent role. Long appears at the moment to be our only effective fwd. Revell runs around too much often in the right place at the wrong time or visa versa. What better example of Revells timing than on Saturday with that last minute attempted header.

I go back to my original point . JFH has said he has only 3 strikers . It means he doesn’t rate Waters , Lobjoit it Laciafano as realistic options up front . It’s quite a statement

Is that not wide then?

What a long time a few weeks is in football. It's already time for him to show what he is made of. I can't help thinking that 'lesser' managers (i.e. not a very famous, pretty popular and brilliant ex-footballer) would have taken a lot more stick over that debacle yesterday, especially after playing the dreaded R&R and being at the helm of a team who just seemed to totally give up. I'm sure that he has ruffled a few feathers in the dressing room over the past few weeks and it'll be interesting to see how he and the players picked react next week. We are stuck with him and a lot of those players for a while yet, so it's either going to be some transformation or a VERY long season.

From the effort put in on Saturday, and the number of injuries we have I'd say JFH isn't that popular in the dressing room, not far off loosing it IMO.

The manger needs to upset a few of the players. Following Saturday I'd like to see us sack a lot of the players in January and rebuild, not sack the manager. Disclaimer: I know that isn't possible and would cost too much etc. I know no one has suggested to sack the manager yet.

Agreed but if Page, JED and now JFH have all lost it in less than 12 months it suggests some of the players are wrong uns ....

Don't agree, he picked a side and formation that was wrong. He is now saying some of them are playing for their futures, that will not go down well
